Celestial Seaview Apartments-Portara

The apartment was a great location with an easy walk to town and buses . George was super friendly and helpful at all times . Room cleaned daily . Comfy bed .

The shower was tiny and curtain doesn’t really do a good job of keeping water in - thought the pictures showed a sandy beach in front but it’s a car park - and not suitable to swim ,too rocky - the town beach we did swim at and was lovely - we were happy with stay though 😊

The location, room, and property itself were wonderful. This apartment is right next to the water and an incredibly short walk to the waterfront and the main street of Naxos Town. It has a beautiful shared rooftop view of the ocean. Our room itself had a balcony and our own view of the ocean as well. The staff were wonderful and attentive - we thought the hairdryer didn’t work and they had someone come by and check, even though it turned out that it was just that you needed to push the plug in harder than we originally thought. Overall, a wonderful stay!

There was a weird, almost like sewer smell in the room that we couldn’t figure out. It seemed to go away after a while, but every time we came back to the room after being gone for the day it would be back and we’d have to open windows to air it out. Unsure what it was and it eventually went away. It was a small enough problem that I’m rating the property a 9/10. Everything else was fantastic.

Great location for the port and town. George was on hand and great with info on arrival. Daily clean of apartment and towels.

Nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom, a shelf would have been handy.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen, zu Fuss erreicht man die Altstadt in 2-3 Minuten. George war ein sehr guter Gastgeber und hat und sehr gut instruiert und uns Tipps und Vorschläge gegeben.
