The perfect place to stay

The property was so lovely! It was only a 5-10 minute walk from Chora (Naxos main town and port) and was extremely easy to get to. Our room offered a beautiful view overlooking the town as well as Naxos island, and the lady was very welcoming. We were supplied with plates and bowls, cutlery, hot plates to cook on and a kettle and fridge which was incredibly convenient when we wanted to eat in! The room was cleaned every day whilst we were out and left in amazing condition, honestly a wonderful place to stay. And we were given a very sweet parting gift ! couldn’t recommend more !

I really enjoyed my stay at Pension Irene, it was peaceful, tucked away from the main busyness of Naxos town but close enough to walk from the port , supermarkets, tavernas etc. Having breakfast on the sunny terrace with view to the mountains and sea will be a happy memory I take away with me.

Nothing not to like. The hob and kitchenette sink are a little old and worn, all perfectly workable tho.

Great value, convenient, cozy & welcoming property & proprietor.

The location was really great, close to the port, shops, tour meeting point & I even found a fairly large super market close by. The best part was the warm pastries Stavros brought made by his mother. Delicious!

Since it rained I didn’t have a chance to use the pool.

Great for a few nights in Naxos Chora

Everything needed to a grerat stay in Naxos Chora - handy for the beaches, handy for the port, and the shops and restaurants. Quiet - apart from the occasional bells from the church opposite - and really comfortable, Hope to come back here.

Better Options in Naxos

Extremely clean, excellent WiFi, quiet location, good kitchenette, received early checkin.

The view from the tiny balcony in Room 7 was the building next door - it was so close it made the room dark and depressing. shower was tiny and hand-held with nowhere to hang it which was annoying and water was rarely hot. No luggage storage after checkout- just a sign telling you to drink in a cafe. No English spoken. location was not optimal and 10 minute walk to restaurants or beach and 20 minutes to ferry port. I was disappointed, it was overpriced and I moved to another hotel.

Gem of a place

I loved the location which was quiet and yet within walking distance to the port and all the shops and restaurants. The owners were amazing. Really hospitable and friendly giving me cookies and fruit. Nothing too much trouble.

Quite near beach and old town

The owner/manager is dishonest as he illegally deducted money after my stay from my credit card with no prior warning or he did not reply to my message asking why this had happened. Accommodation was described as de luxe but it definitely wasn't. The address given in the booking confirmation was not where the property was. We were taken to it so we had no option to check the location before booking. Was described as having a garden view but was overlooking a road.

Perfect stopover, not far from town or the beaches but maybe a challenge from the port with a big suitcase!

Everything you could need, fridge, cooker and all utensils. Compact but perfect for a short stay. Extremely clean, quiet and near to the main road where prices at supermarkets were so much lower than in the centre.

Great place, beautiful! NO parking :(

The place was big and fit perfectly a couple and a friend. The bedroom was large and had access to the balcony. The bathroom also was big enough with a washer inside! We hung out clothes on the clothes drier line outside. All-in-all great location and the host was friendly. He came by for check out to make sure we were good and the place was clean. I would recommend a car to get around Naxos however parking is a beast so you'd need some patience to find free parking.

Parking is very difficult in Naxos. We parked a little ways away (10-15min walk) in a free dirt parking lot by a grocery store/bus stop. But there was a smaller parking lot a block away - this one seemed to have cars parked for longer periods and they mostly seemed non-driveable.

Book it!

I particularly loved the little balcony overlooking a beautiful church and hills in the background. Walking distance to the port (about 8 mins)and heart of town. Clean, quiet, everything I needed. Quiet at night. Get off the bus at Naxos Hospital stop and it's around 2 mins walk from there. Id definitely stay again

If I was going to be picky id say the bed is a bit too firm for me.

Overall a wonderful stay where we felt at home

Our next door neighbor Irene was super welcoming and from day one made us feel like home. The room had a small kitchen from which you can cook some basic meals.

Beautiful room and building in a convenient but quiet location

Very cute and bigger than the pictures! We didn't use the kitchenette, but it came with plenty of cutlery etc, and even a small stovetop. Our room had a small balcony too, which came with a drying area that we found handy for towels (they got quite wet in the ensuite). It was only a 5-10 min walk to the main area by the port, with good places to eat (would also recommend Lemon, cocktail bar where all drinks are 6.50 euros!), and very quiet at night. We didn't see much of the host, but they were welcoming and informative, and even left a complimentary cake in our room. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price!

The ensuite was more of a wet room, as the shower only had short walls and was hand-held, so it was easy to spray water out of the side! Not a big problem though, as lots of towels plus a bath mat are provided.

Wonderful terrace with umbrella shade and large apartment with the BEST fluffy white towels and all the amenities you need. We also had access to a pool at their nearby property. But our space was so quiet and in a perfect location just a few blocks from the main shopping & dining district. Easy walk from the port.

Highly recommended. Great place to stay, would happily stay again

Great central location in a very quiet side street without traffic just in front a lovely small church. Simple accommodation but very clean and well maintained with everything that's required including small kitchenette and AC.

The only thing I'd improve is the bathroom ventilation and a shower head fixed to the wall rather than just hand held and possibly a slightly larger bed, but that's being picky for the price.

Excellent value

Nice accommodation in the heart of Naxos , yet very quiet. Comfy room. Nice balcony. Mini fridge, hot plate and some dishes to allow you some basic cooking. Irene was super nice and brought us her special cake. For the price, it is an excellent value and we highly recommend.

Great place to stay, a good quiet location in a bustling port

The location was a little way from the harbour opposite Sotiros church. Ideal for visiting the old town in the evening . Easy walk to Agios Georgios beach. Irene makes grat cakes.

I wish I could have stayed longer but my holiday was over, next year I will be visining Naxos again and I will surely to stay here again

Unbelievably gorgeous room with private balcony overlooking the town and mountains - way bigger room than expected and tons of storage/space/amenities/convenient laundry. A really beautiful place to explore Naxos from - a little ways out of the city centre so you get to find all these interesting routes to different places.
