About this apartment rental
This is a Venetian apartment, in the heart of the Old Town (Kastro), completely renovated in 2019, oozing an environment of traditional luxury, an environment that will absorb you.
The whole building was in ruins despite its glorious past when it formed part of the Swedish consulate on the island in the 18th century.
Inside the apartment you will see the remains of internal doors, allowing the passage from one house to another.
Walls are 70cm wide built from stones, the wooden beans supporting the ceiling are from a unique Naxian tree that is not possible to find anymore.
The scenery is breathtaking, with views to the port, the Aegean sea and Paros, sounds are muted, and you can hear the boats arriving in the distance.
The apartment is 65m2, with 1 bedroom with a king size bed, a loft with a double bed, bathroom, kitchen and a living room that can sleep 2. There is an east and west balcony, wifi, washing machine/dryer and a/c in both bedroom and living room.

Amazing apartment and Alexandra was so helpful and responsive with any queries, even organising a taxi to the airport for us on our last day. The property is in a really unique building but is very close to everything in the town, and there is free parking close by. Just be aware there a quite a few steps to get to the property but this adds to the charm!

The apartment was beautiful with nice views of the sea. Apostolos was great, meeting us at the apartment and helping us rent a car. Great location as well.

This home was exactly what I had dreamed of when I was looking for a property on Naxos. The views are spectacular and the neighborhood is quiet. It’s right in the former castle and was previously part of the church. It was spacious and gorgeous, updated but with some of the original details, liked curved entrances and wooden beam ceilings. Even the steep, curving stairs up to the home made it feel very authentic. Highly recommend to anyone wanting incredible views.
