About this apartment rental
This is a Venetian apartment, in the heart of the Old Town (Kastro), completely renovated in 2019, oozing an environment of traditional luxury, an environment that will absorb you.
The whole building was in ruins despite its glorious past when it formed part of the Swedish consulate on the island in the 18th century.
Inside the apartment you will see the remains of internal doors, allowing the passage from one house to another.
Walls are 70cm wide built from stones, the wooden beans supporting the ceiling are from a unique Naxian tree that is not possible to find anymore.
The scenery is breathtaking, with views to the port, the Aegean sea and Paros, sounds are muted, and you can hear the boats arriving in the distance.
The apartment is 65m2, with 1 bedroom with a king size bed, a loft with a double bed, bathroom, kitchen and a living room that can sleep 2. There is an east and west balcony, wifi, washing machine/dryer and a/c in both bedroom and living room.

This home was exactly what I had dreamed of when I was looking for a property on Naxos. The views are spectacular and the neighborhood is quiet. It’s right in the former castle and was previously part of the church. It was spacious and gorgeous, updated but with some of the original details, liked curved entrances and wooden beam ceilings. Even the steep, curving stairs up to the home made it feel very authentic. Highly recommend to anyone wanting incredible views.

We had an unbelievable experience staying at this apartment inside the Venitian Castle of Naxos. The apartment was beautifully renovated and offered views of the sunset over the Mediterranean Sea. It was in a walkable location, close to shopping, dining, excursions, and historical sites. Our host, Alexandra, was a fantastic communicator and very flexible with our schedule. She even booked a rental car for us, which was waiting when we walked off the ferry. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The property was picture perfect. The island was beautiful. Fantastic eating, walking, shopping, and scenery. The property is located within the old castle of the island so it is a bit of a maze to find. Allow time and notice landmarks in getting back to it, but wandering the narrow streets was half the magic.
Great views, spacious layout, very comfortable and quiet. Would definitely stay again. We rented a car and explored the beautiful island.
