Short enjoyable stay, not good rest. I expected more from the bed

Going into the family kitchen was really cool and the food was amazing. The bed needs the upgrade!

A lovely place in the charming old part of town with a huge terrace and views of the harbour.

Breakfast was light and delicious, fresh pomegranates, baked sweet bread and coffee. Antonia carried it up the 3 flights of stairs to me on the rooftop with the gorgeous views, which was lovely.

The accomodation was lovely all round. The rooms are on the rooftop which is amazing views but it is up 3 flights of stairs so that should be taken into consideration.

Estupendas anfitrionas!

Then hosts are amazing; they prepare us breakfast every morning and make us feel welcome. Terrace view was really nice. You can see Apolo and the port.

There isn’t a shower head holder nor a curtain. The bed can be oriented to the window so you have a view of the sea when you get up.

Great Location and Hosts.

Very central, comfortable and a terrific family host. Our room was fresh and cleaned daily. The light breakfast provided by Mamma each morning was very kind and an unexpected personal touch. Thank you to them all.

Great location and host,

The property is a 10 min walk from the ferry port and up a small hill (no stairs) just off the main road. It is quiet and a great location near everything. It was very clean, had a nice rooftop, and is an “old Greek” style place. We stayed in the two bedrooms and it was a big apartment with a full fridge and small kitchen area, with one bathroom. Both bedrooms had an AC Unit that worked well. For a two bedroom stay, up to 4-5 could have fit which would have been excellent value for money.

The beds have a sheet only for linens (maybe this is common for Greece during summer?), the bath is a hand shower unit

Maria was waiting for us by the church and guided us to the apartments.. what a really lovely hostess! Rooftop room has lovely view of the port and amazing sunset over the sea to Paros. Simple tasty rooftop breakfast was included.

Perfect Location and a Warm, Family Atmosphere

My stay at Rooms Maria was exceptional! The location is perfect, with easy access to everything in Naxos. What truly sets this place apart is the wonderful family atmosphere. Maria's beautiful breakfasts and the warm welcome from Kola, Gabriela and Antonia made every morning delightful. They were incredibly helpful in discovering local places. George even took me to a bar and introduced me to his friends, which was a special touch. Many guests have been returning for over 23 years, which speaks volumes about the hospitality here. If you're looking for a place in Naxos that combines convenience and a genuine, welcoming experience, Rooms Maria is definitely the place to go. I can't recommend it highly enough!

alltogether the problem was not the room itself, but the furnishing (door, „kitchen“, cuttlery, bed, curtains, shower)

the hosts were really nice and friendly, the checkin and checkout was easy and without any problems, the view from the room was beautiful.

the door was really unsafe and old, the other guests were 1m in front of the thin door having breakfast, there were no light-blocking curtains, the bed felt cheap, the shower was nearly broken, and the room was much smaller than expexted; you can likely find a better room for the same price; alltogether the problem was not the room itself, but the furnishing (door, „kitchen“, cuttlery, bed, curtains, shower)

Perfect (tiny) location in the center of Naxos Hora with beautiful terrace

Perfect location in the very center of Naxos Hora, the very small room (no space for hanging clothes...) is counterbalanced by the amazing terrace with a wonderful view on the sea and the old city. Very good breakfast served on the terrace!

The room was very very small for three people, it was difficult to move around and there was no place were to hanging the clothes or the bathroom stuff.

Merveilleuse terrasse vue sur la mer

Quelle terrasse ! Immense, avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer et la ville… Chambre petite mais très propre et bien équipée, bonne literie (mais un des côtés du lit est contre le mur). (attention si on est très chargé, il y a 2 étages à grimper) La famille qui tient les chambres est adorable (ils habitent en-dessous et sont aux petits soins). Maria, la maman, offre gentiment un petit déjeuner. Nous avons retrouvé l’hospitalité grecque que nous avions connu dans notre jeunesse ! Je recommande absolument !

Una inaspettata sorpresa in quel di Naxos

Rooms Maria sono in una posizione perfetta. In pieno centro nella zona piena di locali e a 10 Min a piedi dalla fermata degli autobus. La terrazza è bellissima da una vista privata sulla città che al tramonto è spettacolare, basta andare al supermercato sotto casa, prendere due robe e si fa un aperitivo con vista tramonto invidiabile dei migliori locali. Il punto forte è la mamma della signora Maria che ogni mattina ci preparava la colazione gratis e senza saperlo ci cambiavano gli asciugamani tutti i giorni. Un ottima camera per godersi Naxos in coppia.

Niente era tutto perfetto. Non aspettatevi una camera grande ma se come noi stai via tutto il giorno e ci torni solo per lavarsi e dormire è perfetta.

Très facile d'accès, parfait pour deambuler dans la chora. Une très belle vue sur le port de la terrasse ! Chambre confortable Petit déjeuner concocté avec soin par la mère de l'hotesse, un vrai petit plus pour les longues journées plage ou excursion.

Emplacement très central donc vous n'echapperaient pas aux bruits du centre ville (soirée karaoké/quelques véhicules roulant..)
