Had a great nights sleep and breakfast we looked forward too.

The room was tired the carpet in places was thread bare and smelt musty due to mould around the window needs updating The tv is very small and flickering a lot The balcony is very small don't expect to sit out on it!

"A Hidden Gem in Torquay!" Couldn’t Have Asked for More!

5 stars – A Wonderful Stay! The Avron Hotel is absolutely beautiful – spotlessly clean, stylishly presented, and in a perfect location. Parking was easy, which made things even more convenient. The owners were truly lovely – so welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was stunning and really comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice and everything cooked to perfection – a lovely way to start the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay – highly recommended! .

The property was spotlessly clean. Hearty breakfast served by the lovely Vera. Didn’t see Trina as she was busy in the kitchen. Had a bit of banter with Pete who made us most welcome on arrival. Thank you Team Avron

Tranquil Torquay

Cosy, comfortable room with a great breakfast and host. Powerful, easy to use shower. Didn't need to use it as the shower tray was ridged but appreciated the mat provided as I have a fear of slipping! Lovely terrace for the morning/evening sun. Corner shop at the bottom of the road if you need it.

Warm welcoming! Breakfast was very tasty. Can't say anything bad about hosting, we felt well taken care of. Good size bathroom, spotlessly clean facilities. Nice and quiet :) We like that the place has a history.

We didn't find the bed comfortable. It could be just a personal preference, but we kept waking up. Real shame as we can't complain about anything and enjoyed our stay very much.

a parking spot was not as easy to find as we were led to believe on the website. Luckily we managed to find a space on the road as someone left. if staying for more than one night we would have liked to have had a more central location

Enjoyable stay, good value, Peter/Trina and Vera were really friendly & helpful.

The choice of full English breakfast with vegetarian option, or smoked salmon & scrambled egg/cereal/fruits/yoghurt etc was very good, served on time and with friendly service.

Time with family

I liked the friendliness of all staff.

I would of preferred a small fridge in each room so I could put my milk or even medication in. As I found out on last day, there was a small fridge in the dining room for such ... Also the location was nearer to Babbacombe Bands, rather than Torquay seafront you can walk to Babbacombe in 10 to 15 mins( slightly up hill.) Torquay seafront was down hill in two stages .
