Avron House

The accommodation was lovely, spacious, clean and had all we needed for a few days' stay. The owner and the lady who served our breakfast were very friendly and lovely to chat to. The fact that a cooked breakfast was provided in the price was a bonus, with a choice of options as well as cereals, toast, lots of fresh fruit, yoghurts and tea and coffee that we could serve ourselves with. There was no real noise problem although I don't think there were many guests at the time. The shower was good too. We walked into Babbacombe on 2 evenings to eat and admire the beautiful coastline, which was about a 20 minutes' level walk.

Nothing really, although one evening we arrived back at about 8pm and had to park quite a way up the road as the parking is all on-street, not that it was a problem on that occasion, but might be if you arrive late and have to carry your luggage etc, going back and forth. The bed was just a tad too soft compared with my own bed, but after the first night I did sleep better.

The property was located perfectly for our function. Peter the owner was welcoming & friendly. Breakfast was really good and a wide variety of foods & drinks available to us

The room was tired the carpet in places was thread bare and smelt musty due to mould around the window needs updating The tv is very small and flickering a lot The balcony is very small don't expect to sit out on it!
