Spacious and welcoming stone farmhouse with private pool, 5 km from Bevagna, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The house is ideal for families and groups of friends who want to spend a holiday together in the Umbrian countryside. Next to the large shaded pool there is a veranda with a large brick barbecue / fireplace, ideal for outdoor dining. The comfortable and spacious accommodation has mosquito nets on all windows and is also suitable for families with children thanks to the safety fence around the pool area. The farmhouse is part of an organic olive farm where biodiversity is promoted. It is not uncommon to come across small insects near the house as they are an integral part of the natural environment something we value and try to preserve rather than eliminate. The property is bordered on two sides by a large walnut orchard and offers parking in front of the property. The area offers various recreational opportunities, with only 1 km of possibility of guided bike tours. You can also organise interesting sightseeing, food and wine experiences. In June, the famous medieval festival of the Gaite takes place in Bevagna, while in Spello (16 km) you can admire the flower festival. From Assisi (20 km) you can enjoy this part of Umbria on an impressive half-day balloon flight. There are various hiking and trekking trails nearby. This is an ideal starting point to visit the characteristic small surrounding villages: 2 km Torre del Colle, 12 km Montefalco with its famous wine Sagrantino di Montefalco. You can also visit the art cities of Assisi (20 km), Todi (30 km), Perugia (30 km), Spoleto (50 km), Gubbio (70 km) and Orvieto (75 km). Rome and Florence can be reached in approx. 2 hours by car.
