It was the perfect small hotel, clean, charming and very tastefully decorated..
Everything was perfect for out short stay and the neighborhood was great if you don't mind walking 15-20 minutes to the river..I heard it referred to as the Brooklyn of Dublin! Lots of great restaurants..
There is no elevator and the rooms while charming are not all that big..The parlor was very cozy and the honor bar was great..Breakfast was simple but the coffee was good!

Luxury townhouse in excellent location
Lovely boutique townhouse hotel in Dublin, perfect walking distance to everything. They have complementary Netflix in the rooms, they offered us prosecco for new year and left a kind note. A Really classy place and the ladies in reception were all super kind and helpful. Bed was comfortable and big for 2 people. They have bathrobes and slippers, it really felt like luxury stay. The shower was great!
Only downside is we had the ground floor room which was beside the entrance and street, so noise was a little louder (although we stayed on New Year’s Eve so this is to be expected), but they offered ear plugs beside the bed which was a classy touch.

A wonderful time
We have had a very stressful few weeks which resulted in me booking a trip to Dublin without telling my husband, so he could do nothing about it 😃
We had the best time. Right from walking through the front door, the lovely, fantastic Ana who greeted us with a glass of Prosecco / beer, the hospitality shown to us was exceptional. While I was getting ready in the morning, my husband would go downstairs for the lovely croissants and on the first morning, a lovely lady even helped him back upstairs!
The room was beautiful & the Rituals toiletries were a hit (my favourite) ❤️
The decor was gorgeous. Very chic.
Thank you for a lovely, much needed relaxing time & we will definitely be back in 2026!
There is nothing not to like!

Room location. We were right at the front of the property (Deborah 59) and the noise from the street was unbelievable!

No 59
No. 59 was absolutely amazing. Staff were all so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was decorated to a high standard with such attention to detail. The locality was perfect and an easy walk into the centre of Dublin. We would highly recommend a stay at No. 59, super place in all ways.
Absolutely nothing to dislike!

Staff were so attentive, felt really looked after from arrival to departure, so many little touches to make you feel welcome. A drink on arrival, a welcome sparkles package ready in the room, chocolate gifts for my wife, a handy whats app group to keep in touch, with amazing reccomendations for the local area for food and drink. (Hint go to Devitts pubs)

Great choice for a short stay. Staff are welcoming and very professional.
Great location. Beautiful decor, comfortable bed and complementary coffee/pastries. Staff are superb.
While our budget room (the only one available on this site), was very small a few additions would make it more comfortable:
Provide more than one clothes hanger.
Provide 2nd stool (there’s lots of room under the worktop).
The beautiful drawing room was not available to relax in after 8pm.

Could not recommend more for a stay in Dublin.
Ana was absolutely wonderful, kind, incredibly attentive, thoughtful and always trying to make things better. Our inital room was small, and she moved us to another the next day so that we could be more comfortable.
We would choose a larger room the next time.

Every detail - from the teacups and cutlery to the gorgeous soft furnishings has been carefully and beautifully curated. Staff were so friendly and went over and above to make our stay enjoyable.
Everything was lovely. The only downside was a poor picture on the television but this didn’t affect our stay.

An unexpected pleasure
Lovely hotel, lovely staff, lovely overnight stay. Location is central, though parking is difficult public transport downtown is right out side the door. No restaurant on site but plentyy around the area including a Michlin star restaurant. Breakfast wasnt available but coffee and pastries were on offer. We couldnt avail of them as we had to leave very early. The welcome grlass of proscecco was very .much appreciated.
There was no live TV but this is a small concern as there was plenty of streaming available.

A stunning hidden gem in Dublin!
What a result stunning property and hotel! The only question is when will I find an excuse to come back.
Perfect location ( just up the road from devitts Bar - best pub ever) and the decor is to die for. The bed was so comfortable I was worried I would sleep in.
Debora ( the owner) and Anna , could not have made me feel more welcome. Delicious coffee fresh orange juice and croissants in the morning and a welcome beer when I arrived!

We loved our stay at Number 59, the hotel is beautifully decorated and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. We loved our relaxed check in experience and welcome drink and our room was lovely with some added extras like the Rituals toiletries. The location is ideal for getting around and plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Definitely would stay again if I return to Dublin.

Good value but didn't appreciate the attitude of some of the staff
The location was very handy to get around. The building was easy to find and the interior nicely decorated. The backyard is beautiful and a little oasis in the busy city. Our room was a bit small but we were expecting that. There were a few issues with the window in the room but the owner was very open to our feedback and was concerned about our well-being. The bathroom needs more shelves and hooks to place items but the shower was very clean. We received a free welcome drink and had some very good complimentary coffee and pastries one morning which we very much appreciated. Check-in was easy and pre-arrival communication was very good.
The manager, Adriana, was unfortunately not as nice as the owner and had a bit of an attitude. One day we politely declined her offer for a coffee in the morning because we had to catch a boat upon which she pursed her lips in disapprovement and left without a comment. We booked accommodation without breakfast. While we think it is very nice to offer complimentary coffee in the morning, we didn't feel that this attitude was justified if we didn't drink the coffee every morning if we book accommodation without breakfast. Also when we checked out, the check-out was rather cold and she didn't ask how our stay was or anything, just what we wanted and that we should leave the key and that was it. Then she offered to take our luggage out the front and down the stairs in front of the building and we politely declined as we were happy to move our own luggage, especially my husband, but her reaction was rude as she insisted, made a rude comment and just grabbed my suitcase and carried it outside and downstairs. While it is nice to offer help with luggage, we didn't appreciate the attitude and rude comment and for this reason we probably won't be back. Which is a shame as we found the accommodation to offer good value in Dublin and we had a lovely chat with the owner and found her to be very pleasant. Also would have given an overall higher score if it wasn't for that negative experience. But we just didn't appreciate to be treated in a condescending way by the manager.

Probably the worst stay of my life
The only positive aspect of the stay was the location, as it is very close to the city center and within walking distance of almost everything of interest. However, the property does not have its own parking and street parking is not really an option: it is a regulated area from 7:00 a.m. to midnight, with a maximum stay of just 3 hours during those hours, in addition to the overnight period between midnight and 7:00 a.m.
Probably the worst stay of my life — and I’ve stayed in some questionable places. The room smelled like a sewage plant the moment we walked in. Management clearly knows about it: two giant fans were already running and the sink drain was neatly sealed with a stopper, as if that would somehow fool us. Spoiler: it didn’t. The stench was unbearable.
As for “sleeping,” forget it. The street noise is so bad you can practically join in on strangers’ conversations from your bed. At 6 a.m., a Tesco truck rolled in to unload right outside the window, just in case anyone had managed to drift off for five minutes. No wonder they thoughtfully provide earplugs — it’s their way of admitting defeat.
And then there’s the light. No blackout curtains, flimsy shutters, and a summer sunrise that blasts straight into the room. Combine that with the noise and the smell, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for insomnia.
In short: a room that smells like a sewer, noise levels worthy of a nightclub, and lighting fit for an interrogation room. Easily one of the worst experiences I could imagine — I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The property was perfect, very well appointed, clean etc. it’s room only but they have a nice wine room for drinks with complimentary pastries, hot drinks and fruit juice, a lovely touch. As for the staff, they can’t do enough for you, communication is excellent.

Gorgeous little spot, if you want to feel like you’re at home even when you’re away - 100% recommend. Great location, st
Lots of lovely little details to make your stay special eg. Prosecco on arrival, robes and slippers in the room, rituals hand wash and lotion and free (tasty!) pastries in the morning. Very helpful staff and lots of local recommendations. The location was perfect for us and despite being in a busy area, it was quiet at night.
If you were planning on staying for a few nights or more, I’d try and book one of the bigger rooms. Ours was perfect for one night but we would have struggled if we had more luggage with us. There were a couple of tiny things we noticed (although they didn’t affect our experience) eg. A big crack in the mirror, stiff window making it difficult to open and no radiator in the bathroom.

Homely and welcoming
The team at Number 59 are amazing. Communication before our stay was great and they made sure that we could check in easily even though we had a really late arrival.
The little touches made all the difference: rooms cleaned every day; fresh water; robes; coffee, tea and pastries in the morning. The concierge team couldn’t do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible- particularly Anna.
The lounge and rear terrace are both lovely places to relax.
We booked three rooms. The garden suite was lovely on the rear of the property as was the largest suite ‘Deborah’s Signature Suite’. All rooms are well appointed and decorated tastefully.
Visitors should definitely be aware that staying in the front facing suite, we did experience lots of noise from the main road well into the night on a busy weekend. Ear plugs were provided but there were times in the night when these were still not enough.
I would definitely stay again, but in the Garden Suite next time
