Beautiful open lakefront and lake accesst

The kayaks were old, not maintained, inspected by staff or whatsoever. Unfortunately, I took one that had a hole and it drowned 3/4 in the water on my way. I had to swim and drag it to the shore and empty the water at some other property. It was scary and hard, although I had a life west and I am a good swimmer. I cannot imagine this happening to a family or a non swimmer. If the hotel is providing kayaks they should do basic checks. After raising it to the reception and reception apparently to management, nothing happened.

You need a car or you have to depend on Taxis which is 5 euros one way to the centre. There was no food or drinks available - a short walk to another hotel is needed.

Me encantó mi estancia. Las instalaciones son hermosas, todo está muy limpio y cuidadosamente pensado para que los huéspedes se sientan cómodos. Mi bungalow fue perfecto y la ubicación es increíble, con un excelente acceso a la laguna. Un lugar ideal para relajarse y disfrutar de la magia de Bacalar.

Lo único que no me gustó fue que la atención en recepción fue bastante básica; el personal cumple con brindar la información necesaria, pero no destaca por su amabilidad. Además, no hay restaurante ni servicio de comida en el sitio, algo que sin duda sería un gran plus para complementar la experiencia

The bathroom smelled of sewer gas, coffee machine worked on occasion. It’s called a deluxe bungalow but in reality it’s a nice hotel room. It was a long walk to the town centre or to get to a descent meal. So you need a car. The kayaks were in rough shape!
