    The view was stunning, but then so is every accommodation on the lagoon. Don’t waste your money on food or drink here. The food is bland and ordinary, and the cocktails are weak and expensive. If you stay here go into the town and eat as much as possible. The room was clean, but not much sleep was had. The air conditioner made a sound like a licking cat all night, which was annoying. We tried another tactic to turn off the air con and have the ceiling fan going. Great idea until the fan light would turn on and off throughout the night randomly, so back to the licking cat we went. I reported this problem to the front desk on day one, but on day 5 not a maintenance person to be seen. The staff need some serious training on personality and smiling in general. They were so busy hiding behind the front desk, or behind their phones that we drifted in and out like ghosts. Tried to get a pool towel 2 days in a row, a difficult task. Finally landed a couple on day 3. Overall not a great experience .

    Very well run establishment. All rooms have exceptional lagoon views. Restaurant and bar have good food/drink offerings and friendly service. Loungers around pool area and docks are v pleasant. Kayaks and p boards available foc. Just a lovely place for a few nights.

    Absolutely amazing hotel, clean and spacious rooms- all rooms have a lagoon view. Location is great right on the lagoon and right next to cenote azul. Facilities in the hotel were great, free kayak and lifejackets and paddle board, they have spa and tours too. The bartender edgar and jesus at reception were extremely helpful and had great suggestions and looked after us Would highly recommend this to anyone.
