Great location, 5 minutes walk to local pubs, shops, restaurants and the beach! The property felt very cosy and homely and the beds were very comfortable. Despite being on a road there was no noise and we slept very well even with the window open. We’d definitely stay here again!
Parking instructions were unclear. Property is listed as having complementary parking for 1 car via a permit. But before arrival i was informed the permit was for loading and unloading only and that the parking was not included and that i needed to park in a local car park and pay for it myself. There isn’t anywhere appropriate to load and unload outside the property (it’s directly infront of some traffic lights on a one way street). After parking in the car park behind the house and paying for 3 days parking, we read the welcome folder inside the property where it said there actually is parking included in the stay, but no description as to where this is (it just says “Council Car Park” with no address) it was also too late since we’d already had to pay. It would be worth ensuring these details are updated and consistent across the listing/holidaycottages.com customer service and the in-property documentation.
