Very comfortable accommodation, great host, brilliant location.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming. It’s in a fab location, very central to the beach front and town.

Unfortunately as the walls seemed quite thin it meant we could hear the people in the room next door. Not the fault of the owners of the property but the guests were not very respectful and were noisy until 3am and they kept going outside which disturbed us.

Could be better if a little more care taken. Not a luxury apartment as advertised.

Location nice and close to sea front. Bed was comfy.

Heating wasn't on when we arrived and the radiator in the main living space took a day to heat up properly. Water from kitchen tap lukewarm. Shower not especially powerful, pressure went down if you turned up the temperature. No heating in bathroom towel rail didn't work. Could do with better kitchen utensils ie smaller chopping knives etc

We left the property almost as soon as we arrived. There was nothing to like about it

The apartment, the furnishings - both age and quality. Situated on the ground floor next to the road. Outside of the bar, which is part of the property were a group of extremely loud drunks. The worst place we’ve ever been to, don’t understand the positive reviews, we wouldn’t even rate it as 1

Mixed feelings.

Functional, with convenient location, comfortable bed, kitchen facilities good, excellent Indian restaurant (Ragini's) just across the road.

Very dodgy floorboard next to the bed; entry hall was dingy and smelt damp so not a good first impression. Sofa rather dated and pictures on the wall were dreadful!! Sounds very picky but you did ask!!

The apartment was nice but the break was not restful at all due to the loud music and crowd noise

The room was clean and tidy and set out well

When we arrived we were left an info sheet which said quiet hours were 10pm until morning. We understood the apartment was joint to the pub/club but wasn’t informed the Saturday we stayed there was an event in the pub/club. The music went on until 12.10am and by the time the security and DJ packed up (doors slamming) it was gone 1am. The music was extremely loud (we have videos & recordings) but just as bad were the crowds outside shouting swearing screaming singing and generally no respect for neighbouring properties. We were considering moving to Premier Inn at one stage! We understand this was a fund raising event and commend that however we should have been informed this was planned upon booking.

Lovely base for our trip to Devon. Easy walk to Seaton Tramway and Tesco, which has a Costa Coffee. Really enjoyed it.

If this was half the price it would be what you’d expect.

The kitchen and bathroom were fine, clean and everything needed but the bedroom is tiny for even just a double bed. It seemed like a lot to pay for a compromised space. Okay for a night but not much more.

The bedroom was very tight, barely fitting just a double bed. The ‘lounge’ room was a squeeze too. Basic couch a metre away from the walk with the TV.

A convenient stopover near Lyme Regis en route to Cornwall.

Easy to find. On street parking was close by. We were able to find a restaurant for supper and picked up the makings of breakfast from nearby Aldi and Tesco.

The steps out of the shower would benefit from more anti-slip measures.

This was a self-catering apartment. Kitchen equipment was adequate and easy to use. This is a relatively quiet part of the town but within easy reach of the sea-front.

Apartment room door lock was a bit fiddly! No other issues.

Excellent perfect location, super clean and great facilities.

The overall property was fantastic, spacious, and clean and in a perfect location for us. We booked this location as we wanted to attend Seaton parkrun on the esplanade and it was a couple of minutes walk. The 10.30 check out was perfect as gave me time to shower after the event.

Not a huge criticism, the quilt was a little too high a tog for this time of year (August) but it was a very hot day/evening when we stayed.

Stayed in a studio apartment, near to the town. Clean & suitable.

The OLD PICTURE HOUSE accommodation was not open Monday- Wednesday so we could not eat next to where we stayed. The menu looked great. The stairs to the accommodation are steep.

Basic but close to beach

No views out of windows, couldn’t open bedroom window because the bin storage was outside. Tv wouldn’t tune in so we had no tv. Oven was very smoky when we tried to use it. Described as soundproofed but could hear upstairs. Hot water was temperamental.lots of noise from passers-by as the front door is straight into the living room.

Perfect, apart from the daytime noise in the lounge.

Very well presented and equipped, rooms of a comfortable size.

There was quite a bit of traffic noise from the nearby busy main thoroughfare through Seaton. There were also people walking right by the door , often talking on their phones etc, and this was in the lounge itself. So it was not very relaxing, as I was tired upon arrival. No other complaints though!!

Studio Apartment

We stayed an extra night at short notice and unfortunately due to all rooms already booked we had to change but no bother as it was just as nice, just the room a bit smaller than the Directors Suite where we stayd the first night. Everything, the room was impeccable, the bed so comfortable, the shower was lovely and roomy, it really is a lovely self contained suite, very quiet (apart from the noisy seagulls) and literally a 30 second walk across to the beach, Seaton Tram, Tesco and Aldi, just the perfect location. Breakfast next door at The Old Picture House was absolutely 💯 top breakfast and the staff were all lovely, we'll definitely be back.

The only tiny, tiny thing was the shower was only lukewarm, even when turned up to it's hottest. However, as the weather currently is so very warm it didn't matter to us.

Everything, the room was impeccable, the bed was huge and so comfortable, the shower was lovely and roomy, it really is a lovely self contained suite, very quiet (apart from the noisy seagulls) and literally a 30 second walk across to the beach, Seaton Tram, Tesco and Aldi, just the perfect location.
