The Guest Place

Came down to visits my parents and this was just around the corner from there home. This is a fab location, the place was very clean comfy bed. If you want something local to town, racecourse then this is the place to visit. I knew the area so knew this little gem would be fab. The street is quite and a good area of the town.

Really hard to find a negative

The property was situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac directly opposite the race course. Their was a Lidl at the end of the road with an Aldi, Morrisons etc not far away. The property was ideal for us as we were visiting friends for a reunion event, and wanted somewhere close. We found the room handy as it was downstairs access which was good for my wife who has walking problems. It was very clean and tidy with parking straight outside the window. A key safe outside the entrance gate led into a small outside area with a seat and an outside light which was handy when coming in at night. We found welcoming milk, jam, cereal etc and a lovely note which was thoughtful. The excellent shower room was well stocked with towels, soap and shampoo etc and we have the same shower enclosure in our downstairs bathroom at home. The microwave was handy and plenty of crockery etc and even a small, but very usable ironing board and iron. Even a hair dryer and extra throw for the bed. Tv on the wall and hanging space for clothes etc Overall we loved our stay, small, spotless, great location and suited us perfectly. We would not hesitate in staying again and telling our friends.If you want a clean, quiet location few days stay,look no further.We found it charming.

Nothing springs to mind as we enjoyed the room and location. A clever idea for the annexe, using it as a guest place.

Everything I needed. I ate out mostly as visiting friends and family. The basics were there as toaster, microwave, kettle and tea coffee. It was a super cozy bed and pillows 😴 And they were laundered with a gorgeous smell.

I thought it would be better to have one of them table top ovens, with cooking rings on. As I fancied an egg and bacon sandwich 🥪. With a small frying pan.Perhaps a cafetiere? The tv signal was good

The place is well situated, close to Tesco and the main shopping street.

Smoking on the premises was not allowed, not even on the porch. Just on the green in the middle of the cul-de-sac. So sat there like the local vagrant.
