Needed to fill out a form to get the key code, and this would not work when onsite. However a quick phone call resolved this.

Lovely property, very modern stylish and comfortable. It is in a great location within a short walk of the train station, hills and town. It also has a lovely pub a minutes walk away. The facilities are great with a nice social family space, decent sized bathrooms with decent shower and plentiful hot water. Also has a decent click clack sofa bed in lounge. The owners were very good with providing info and responses.
The little things can turn a property from excellent to average or not very good value for money. For me the thing that is letting this property down is the cleaning service… cobwebs, carpets, cutlery, cups plates could all be improved… There is a decent dishwasher but the fact that it was so dirty inside meant we were better off washing up by hand. I feel bad for leaving a negative comment as I really liked the place and despite the cleaners having a bad day, I would consider staying again.

This list will be short. I like the size of the rooms. And space of the maisonette. Clean bedding and towels
1) its a steep metal staircase into the property which when you have two small dogs to carry up and down is challenging and also if you have lots with you
2) the size of the maisonette is good... but there is nowhere to put anything in the bathroom, its needs shelves.
3) kitchen is pretty useless. Huge table which takes up so much space. Fridge is tiny two very small shelves and a weird bottom whole to out salad in?! If I had small children I would want a child lock on the cupboard under the sink as it had cleaning products without safety lids
4) again NO storage space at all. If you brought any food with you there is nowhere to put it
5) sitting room, is big, but I hate rugs at the bwts of time and this one is dirty. Sofa uncomfortable and position in totally the wrong place to view a tv. Also no tv channels on it !
6) bedrooms a good size, but we come back to storage, there isnt much!
7) no, there is no garden, personally id say its not suitable for dogs at all... and there is a charge of £25 for each! Which isnt clear at all and didn't see this before paying in full (due to a last minute booking) and that is something I really dont like. Full transparency should be in place when you click to say you have dogs with you.
8) the location itself is ok ish, but finding places close by to walk the dogs for them to go to the toilet was difficult. The huge field behind and another one local is private.... I appreciate you can walk 10 mins to the common, thanks to asking a local, but not great when you want to give them a toilet break before bed and in the dark.
9) no parking space
10) had to pay a cleaning fee but sorry the cleaning of the maisonette wasnt spotless by any means and as I said very grubby rugs everywhere.
11) nearly forgot, windows weren't great in the lower bedroom there was a big gap
