Great location, lovely comfortable bed with good quality linen.

Kitchen was a little sparse on equipment like chopping board, plates etc. but adequate enough for a 2 night stay if you aren’t cooking

The cottage was beautiful and spotlessly clean.

No rubber bathmat or grab rails gor the bath and over bsth shower...it eas too dangerous for me to use as I am partially disabled...this small thing did ruin my holiday which could be my last due to a terminal illness.

Tranquil location in a village. Modern apartment.

The apartment says there is a garden but it’s a communal garden which you cannot walk out of your apartment too. It’s around the back. Also dusty overhead lights. And smelt of dogs on the sofa.

The location is gorgeous and overall the property is nice. The weather was really warm but the property stayed nice and cool throughout the day and overnight. They provided bread and jam from local shops which was a lovely touch. The kitchen and living facilities were decent. Check in and out was nice and easy. The property is a decent size for a couple. The bed and bedroom were very comfortable, we slept very well.

The rugs/sofa and blankets stank of dog. We understand it's dog friendly but the rugs were clearly years old and in dire need of replacing. The blankets for the evening were a lovely touch but they were absolutely heaving so we didn't use them. I like to stretch in the morning but I didn't want to lie on the floor, even on the carpet in the bedroom because the smell was that bad. Not ideal when you're dressed up for dinner and don't even want to sit on the sofa, which also needed replacing, given the dog hair and smell. Some basic cooking utensils were missing too, which made things awkward, and the bin was broken. The rubber seal under the shower screen was broken and mouldy. It's obvious that the upkeep of the property is not very well monitored. People in, people out, basic clean, rinse and repeat situation. It was fine for a few days but we wouldn't stay there again. We did wonder how the property has such a high score for feedback on here, then I received an email from the company who owns the property offering me a 25% discount on my next booking with them if I leave a 5 star review...
