Beautiful location with breathtaking sea views, peace, and privacy. The villa was very clean, functional, and well prepared for guests. The property itself was furnished quite simply and in a very basic IKEA-style way, but honestly this did not bother us at all or take away from the charm of the place. Everything was practical, clean, and perfectly sufficient for a comfortable stay. A huge advantage was the outdoor kitchen area with paella cooking stations and a barbecue grill. Communication with the company managing the villa was excellent — fast, helpful, and professional. When strong wind blew a huge amount of leaves into the pool, one message was enough and someone arrived the next morning to clean everything. There are also well-stocked supermarkets nearby, including Lidl and Mercadona.
We have absolutely no complaints about the company managing the property — on the contrary, they did their job very well. However, what was missing was the human factor and any sense of hospitality from the villa owners themselves. There were practically no basic “starter” products provided upon arrival. Guests should be prepared to immediately buy essentials such as coffee, tea, sugar, spices, dishwasher tablets, laundry capsules, extra toilet paper, and hygiene products. For a group of 15 people, four rolls of toilet paper across four bathrooms was simply not enough.
After more than 30 years of traveling around the world, this was honestly the first time we experienced owners leaving absolutely no warm or welcoming impression at all — not even a symbolic bottle of water or a short welcome message. It is more about the gesture and atmosphere than the value of the items themselves. Even in ordinary hotels, you can usually feel that guests are welcome. Here, everything was organized correctly by the management company, but the personal touch from the owners was completely missing.
As for the catering recommended by the management company, unfortunately this was also not a successful part of our stay. We visited outside the main season, so the restaurant was still partially closed. Because we wanted to organize a group dinner around 5:30 PM, we were offered a catering option instead of the standard restaurant service. It is also worth knowing that the usual 10% discount available for villa guests at the restaurant does not apply to catering services.
These were my 50th birthday celebrations and also our 30th wedding anniversary, so this dinner evening with our friends — on April 10th — was very important to us. The rest of the trip everyone spent more individually, sightseeing and organizing their own activities. Unfortunately, the catering turned out to be a huge source of stress and a major disappointment for me. However, we do not want to go into details about t
