It was so nice to have a private dock with great fishing and time away from the busy city life ! Pontoon rental was amazing . Very cozy and full of outdoor activities.

Family and and friends booked and enjoyed a peaceful weekend stay at this rustic cabin. The owners offered for free a canoe, kayak and paddle boat which was nice to get out on the water with, even did some fishing along the shorelines. Lake is great place to swim and fish, and was a nice time to be away from city life. We often look for decent priced places, and we appreciate the lower costs to book a lakefront property. This place was a great value for your money as it offered everything we needed for a weekend getaway at a reasonable price.
8.0 / 10.0Excellent·Jul 2023
We stayed for 2 nights for a short family getaway. We went to canoe/kayak (we brought to kayaks to use along with the canoe that is there) and enjoy the lake scenery. It is lovely, even though the cabin is set quite a ways back from the lake, with woods in between. It is not a place for anyone who has trouble walking, as there are steep stairs and uneven ground to get to the dock. Also, if you plan to boat, BYO life jackets.
The host was responsive to questions about the property and having a later check-out time.

The inside of the cabin was very rustic, which is fine, but had some cleanliness issues and the shower was such a tiny trickle it was near impossible to rinse off the soap. The outside of the cabin and the grounds around it appear to have been left to decay for years and years, including the pontoon. If all you want is a place to sleep and you're fishing all day, this would work. If you want to enjoy the outside area, I recommend you do not choose this property.
