cosy, relaxing, very comfortable

loved staying here, it's our second stay in the space of two months. Last time we stayed in the piggery, this time in the old dairy. Dairy is slightly better.

Perfect Getaway

Perfectly presented, spotlessly clean, high quality accommodation in a peaceful location. We stayed in The Cow Shed, Perfect for 2 people, stylish comfortable decor with modern kitchen, bathroom and all facilities needed for an enjoyable stay. Lovely walks from the farm, lots of wildlife to enjoy, good dining close by and in the nearby towns. The owners have done a fantastic job converting the old farm into a peaceful haven for an enjoyable countryside getaway. Highly recommended

Excellent stay

We had a wonderful stay at Highest Farm, in the Piggery, and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in the Cotswolds. The location is absolutely beautiful, and the conversion of the farm into accommodation has been done to a very high standard. The Piggery was perfect for a couple. The bed was very comfortable, the bedroom and bathroom were both a great size, and the shower was excellent. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and we really appreciated the good-quality coffee and the espresso machine. Having the option to use the barbecue was also a lovely bonus. Although it rained for a couple of days during our stay, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. The area is close to lovely walks and charming villages, making it ideal for exploring. At the same time, it’s also a perfect place to simply relax, switch off, and enjoy the surroundings without doing much at all. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily return in the future.

The place was lovely little stay and had everything we needed the heated floor in the bathroom was lovely in the winter and it was very warm. The bed was comfortable and the sofa was lovely. Would definitely recommend. Thank you :)

Fantastic accommodation, highly recommended

Beautiful restored accommodation, we stayed in The Piggery which is perfect for 2 people. The owners have done a fantastic job renovating the farm buildings into high quality holiday accommodation. It is a peaceful location surrounded by beautiful countryside with lots of walking or cycling. The property was equipped to a high standard with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Special thanks to Magdala and the housekeeping team who are very friendly, helpful and busy keeping the properties spotless and tidy. The gardens are well maintained which we plan to enjoy when we visit next spring. Highly recommended

The house is beautiful, full of character. Great for a group of friends like we were. Plenty of room for everyone. Situated in beautiful grounds and within easy reach of M5 so very easy to get to Cheltenham or beyond. Phil the owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any of our queries.

Beautiful accommodation in beautiful surroundings

The entire estate is located in picturesque countryside, with perfect gardens but also within a short drive of every amenity required. We stayed in the calf barn which was immaculately clean and has everything you need for a cosy, comfortable stay. The games room was also a great addition for some of the rainy afternoons . Just a truly fantastic place to stay.

Not that this detracts from the score at all but some spares of things would have been useful. Being a broader guy some extra pillows for sleeping would have been ideal . It was also quite rainy which left us soaked on some of the walks so some extra towels would have also been appreciated.

The two recently refurbished barns were excellent. Really comfortable and stylish. Well equipped.

The bungalow wasn’t up to the same standard - it was clean - but the seating room wasn’t as cosy. The shower was almost unusable as went from super scorching hot to very cold.

Great for unwinding, just 2.5 hours away from London jams!

Secluded, bright and a panoramic extension looking over farmland and distant hills. Very well equipped kitchen. Espresso machine with a jar of stocked ground coffee.

The entrance to the farm is a tad hidden. A bigger signage outside would help. We drove past it but only happened once!

Amazing stay in a beautifully decorated cottage with all up to date facilities.

We stayed in The Stables which is beautifully refurbished, comfortable, clean and spacious. The shower is amazing. Underfloor heating in the back bedroom bathroom is a lovely surprise.

Stunning property excellent location

Hayes farm is beautiful.. The location was brilliant with beautiful views but still within easy reach for eateries and shops. The accommodation is lovely so well equipped

My only suggestion would be a mirror in bedroom above sockets for hairdryer tongs etc..

A rural escape , would definitely book again

We stayed in the English Barn. Rural escape yet close to all amenities. A wonderful setting to unwind for a few days whilst visiting a friend who lives in the area. Accommodation to a high standard with fully equipped kitchen which made hosting easy.

If I were being picky , to rear of the English Barn there is an attached building still to be renovated close to the rear patio area, It doesn’t show this in the photographs when I booked. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom windows have an array of spiders and webs caught in the sealed glazing .

The Dairy was lovely. Really well designed and nicely furnished. Very clean and well laid out. I could have lived there forever but unfortunately had to go home! It was exceptionally quiet and in the middle of the countryside , great views .

Lovely for a weekend break.

Near to the wedding venue. Newly renovated. Nice and quiet. Having so many units makes it ideal for extended families getting together .

English barn - a little like a goldfish bowl plus extremely hot when the weather nice. Parts of it not cleaned properly, so had to do it ourselves on arrival.

The best place to stay when visiting Gloucester

We have stayed in a number of properties in Gloucester while visiting family - now we have found the best. The location is ideal with glorious Gloucestershire countryside but only 15 mins from major shops, the property is excellent, beautifilly presented with all the facilities and nore that you could ask for and the welcome from the owners was wonderful. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Perfect place to stay, highly recommend.

Beautiful, both location and accommodation, very peaceful and private. The accommodation has been sympathetically renovated with style. It has everything you need, and ( for us coffee snobs) local roasted coffee beans for the coffee machine. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay again when visiting family.

Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

One of a group of eight cottages very recently transformed from farm buildings. This has been done to a very high standard and it was a delight. Views were lovely and listening to the children play in the open courtyard.

Not dislikes - suggestions A few more instructions were needed: coffee maker, hob, oven. Maybe an outline of the farm and potential walks. Where the communal washing machines were, how to use. The drive was a dust bowl, mainly due to very dry weather.

Needed paper towels and some dish cloths to wipe things up with! Also could not figure out how to turn on stovetop until day 4. Instructions needed!

Lovely stay

Great views, comfortable bed, kitchen fully equipped for most basic meals. The shower was nice and strong. Lots of drawer space for clothing. Remote dimmable lights are a nice touch if you don't like pitch black rooms. Was able to order food to the location easily. Lots of parking. Can do BBQS too, if you are interested in doing so. Lovely open living plan. Wild rabbits and cows roaming nearby all day long if you are an animal lover.

It gets very hot during summer, fans provided but can not keep a whole room cool. The digital thermostat was very confusing, with no instructions on how to use it. Lots of cobwebs at slightly above head height if you are on the taller side, had to clean a lot of them myself. A regular clean-up of webs and spiders would be nice. Bugs and spiders are expected obviously it being out in the countryside and a farm.

Lovely place We stayed here for a wedding close by We were a large party and availed ourselves to the use of a couple of self contained houses which were delightfully restored to a very high standard All Rooms were well appointed and very comfortable Managing staff were a credit Weather was glorious and we were able to partake in using the bbq

A wonderfully quiet get away, with beautiful views.

We had received a message from the owner who told us which property we had, that the door would be open and where to park. It is a lovely property, in an off the beaten track which is what we wanted.

The sofa faced the TV, but there was a beautiful view at the side, so for our stay, we moved the sofa and the table. There were a few things we highlighted to the owners that could make the property better, but there was nothing we didn't like.

The house is fabulous. Very well equipped and the garden is lovely. Great for children Safe and lots to explore. Phil was very accommodating and helpful with directions when we got a little lost initially. We've all loved it and will definitely come back. Area has lots to offer

Comfortable farm outbuilding conversions as holiday lets

Perfect layout for 2 families sharing - with bedrooms at either end offering privacy. Comfortable beds and a choice of fat or slim pillows. Nice views from the living room. Good communal games room and overall layout encourages friendly community.

Could do with suggested walking trails across the surrounding farm land and need a few more kitchen bits such as chopping boards, drying up cloth, lemon squeezer, cleaning creams etc. Shame that no one came to meet us or check in on us during our stay.

AMAZING PROPERTY IN A STUNNING LOCATION

We loved the beautiful countryside location. also the peace and quiet. We liked the fact that it was only a short drive to the centre of Gloucester, where there is the historic harbour, the quays shopping centre , museums and lots of nice restaurants , Cafe's and bars. The property is absolutely stunning, all done to a high standard, very clean , and tidy. we think it will be even better when all the landscaping around the barn is complete.

The hay barn next to the house full of old furniture etc, when we sat on the patio it was not a pretty sight,we thought it could have been screened off better. Also the construction machinery and skip full of building waste spoiling the view from the other patio. We appreciate the work is still in progress in some areas , but was a little disappointed because all the other houses had pretty little gardens and court yards , and we felt it did spoil our experience a little. I am sure when all work is completed it will look totally amazing, just our bad luck it hasn't been completed yet.

Lovely property, well decorated and clean. Lovely quiet area surrounded by countryside.

No criticism just an idea to maybe supply extra hand towel to dry hands. Then everyone has large towel for body and hand towel for hair.
