We had a happy time!

Large open plan space, comfy chair/sofas for lounging in front of excellent tv, well-equipped kitchen, excellent location and clearly some pride in the place which was lovely to see.

Small suggestions for improvement: hooks on the back of bathroom/bedroom doors due to there being limited storage space in the main bedroom and add at least one chair for putting clothes on. Would also suggest some more shelving or storage space in the bathroom. The big surprise (probably because we didn't read the description properly) was that there was no real privacy in the upstairs bedroom and it was completely open to the main reception room/kitchen. It worked ok, just, because one single person was happy to put up with it. All that said, we loved our stay.

A beautiful property which was extremely spacious and homely!

A beautiful property which was extremely spacious! We loved staying at The Old Library, the beds were extremely comfortable, and there was plenty of room in the dining room/lounge to relax - even a snooker table! It was perfectly located with two Pubs in the village and quick access to the car park about one minute walk down the road. We would highly recommend and would stay again when visiting the Cotswolds.

An enjoyable location to stay in Painswick close to several eating places. No outdoor seating space.

Nice conversion very spacious . Helpful hosts- we asked for a teapot and it was delivered the same morning. Well equipped kitchen. Nice smart TV

The high temperatures during our stay meant we had to have double glazing windows open which resulted in noticeable traffic noise at rush hour. No garden, patio, or balcony to sit out in the nice weather. One sofa has a wonky leg!

Everything about the Old Library we liked. It has all you need and being in Painswick its a great location to explore the north & south Cotswolds. The oweners have done an amazing job and are excellent hosts..they keep a very tight ship yet provide a fantastic space to relax in... Will be returning...

Beautiful, spacious and very well equipped house with amazing decor. Beds are so comfy it was hard to leave them each morning. Hosts are so nice and pleasure to deal with. Can’t recommend the place enough :)

What a stunning place!

We stayed at this beautiful place for the Cheltenham Gold Cup. It exceeded our expectations. It catered for all our needs Excellent communication with the owners & nothing was a bother. Would definitely recommend this little gem of a place if your wanting stay in the Cotswolds.
