Lovely cottage in a beautiful town.

Lovely peaceful location and a very comfortable space to stay with great facilities.

I was given clear instructions to knock on the main house door and the host greeted me and let me know what I needed to know.

A couple of things to bear in mind when booking. The bed is in the eves of the roof, so to access one side involved crouching. If both people were tall, that could be a slight problem. However, the bedroom was very spacious otherwise. The upstairs bedroom is open to the downstairs kitchen/lounge (ie no door between them). If you have one person who gets up early / is noisy, and another that likes to sleep, it may not be a good property for you. However, neither of those things can be changed, and weren't an issue for us, but may impact others.

A peaceful, relaxing break in a lovely Cotswold village

Lovely, well-equipped lodge.Tastefully decorated. Great bathroom and shower. Thoughtful added extras, eg fresh fruit, milk, juice, cakes and cookies.

Absolutely wonderful!

What a gorgeous place this was! absolutely everything that you would ever need in the house and exceptionally clean and tidy. Super comfy bed with really really good pillows and duvet! Had a wonderful stay, wish we'd spent more time in the house rather than out and about!

It's not that I didn't like it, but a TV in the bedroom would be nice. However, this is absolutely NOT a critisism as not everyone likes a TV in the bedroom.

Beautiful cottage

Beautiful cottage with everything we needed for a cosy weekend in the Cotswolds. Very well equipped and all the furnishings had a luxurious boutique feel. Extremely well located also for leisurely long walks, and to explore the tea shops and restaurants in the one of the nicest villages in the Cotswolds. We will definitely return!

Fabulous stay in a quiet and well equipped lodge. If you are looking for a property with all the comforts of home, then this is the place for you. The hosts were quick to respond to our enquiries and provided plenty of information to help us to explore the local area.

Tranquil and refreshing

Fantastic area, accomodation was spotless and had such a tranquil air about it. My partner loved reading on the patio and meeting the puppy too, it was just the respite we needed. Visiting the Rococo gardens, the Beacon and the Cotswold wildlife park are a must, they're a short trip from the Lodge. A huge thank you to the owners, it made our week to feel so welcome with the scones on arrival.

The property was comfortable, well equipped and spacious, excellent value for money. The location was perfect for walking and touring the local and surrounding areas. The only thing we would change is adding a teapot and microwave.

The mattress was too soft for us but that's a personal preference.

Lovely retreat to the cotswolds!

The property is really lovely- modern and clean. Parking just in front of property. The experience was enhanced by the hostess who was extremely nice and helpful from giving details on the local area to leaving some milk fruit and eggs to welcome us. My 8 year old daughter and i had a lovely stay. She wants me to rebook already!

Close to nature with my family 👪

I liked the cottage, amazing views, very quiet and close to nature. Hannah was very helpful and she answered all questions in no time. We had a lot of picnics and there is a lovely playground close to the cottage. Eggs, milk, fruits and cookies provided- thank you! Recycling and organic products - felt like home 🏡 I even did my Sunday workout in the garden.

I liked everything and will definitely come back!

A Beautiful Setting for a Wonderful Break...

We loved everything about the stay, all the amenities were there to utilise, and all of top quality. Our host was great and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The cleaning standards were impeccable and we would love to stay here again!!

The only qualm I had was Thursday early evening when the low winter sun was shining through the back windows, we found it blinding, perhaps a blind for such occasions would be a helpful touch, but otherwise we had no complaints at all, our stay was perfect!!

Warm ontvangst, mooi huis, compleet en praktisch ingericht.

Het huisje is rustig gelegen, aan de rand van het dorp. Faciliteiten zijn in de buurt te vinden. Van een lokale supermarkt tot goede koffiebar. En met de auto ben je zo in Stroud voor een grote supermarkt. Veel te wandelen en te zien in de omgeving.
