Easy, no nonsense, safe, clean, hassle free, friendly

I really like the no nonsense setup, get sent keycode, let yourself in, everything is clean and ready and everything I needed to cook my own meals, feed the dogs, go on walks - we drove to stratford park which is great. the place was really warm too and i appreciated the more eco friendly products. the owner is very friendly and helpful with directions to the hotel etc and obviously cares deeply about providing a quality relaxed experience

while i appreciated the eco products there was a strong fragrance smell upon arrival and i would have preferred a window left open before we arrived - the smell cleared quickly with windows open - honestly it was nice to come somewhere at least aware of toxic products at all though!

Comfortable stay

Kitchen was well equipped. Comfortable bed. Good shower.

No bathroom shelf - sponge bags had to be squished behind the basement taps. A shelf would really have helped.

ENJOYABLE STAY

Very comfortable bed and well equipped. Unlimited supplies of loo rolls, tea bags, coffee sachets etc. Central heating excellent.w

We found the sofa very hard and uncomfortable. The dining chairs were uncomfortable.A grab rail and toiletry holder would be useful in shower cubicle. We would have preferred a washing machine/dryer instead of dishwasher.

Comfy

Good location, plenty of parking, flat was comfortable and well equipped. A small over or an air fryer would be a nice addition but okay for a short stay. Check in was very easy and instructions for the stay were clear.

It wasn’t the cleanest. Last persons hairs all over the sink and quite a few cobwebs in the corners.

Good parking facilities and very clean room except ours smelt of wet dogs, comfortable bed, great shower.

Lovely self catering apartment

Spacious apartment. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Comfortable and private. Very quiet. Close to Gloucester and the beautiful Bourton-on-the-water.

If I was to be really picky, we had no bedroom window to open, it was a firedoor that had to be kept shut so was very warm at night. Having said that, there were 2 fans there.

Lovely apartment

Great location for my event, good parking availability & secure building. The main building is steeped in history, and the owners really show its potential along with info on local locations & history. Great use of space & lovely views of the park land from my room. The apartment had a decent fridge, induction stove top, microwave & even a slimline dishwasher.

Furniture was a bit worn, the shower head had plumber tape holding it on to the wall fixing so couldn't remove the shower head bit, a few stains on the carpets but everything was clean & tidy.

It was in a good location, with ample internal space but let down by not having air conditioning.

The sense of space was good as were the range of fittings. The location suited us and it had off street parking. Ease of booking was a breeze and the format - being an apartment, is our preference.

The layout was problematic in that almost all doors were marked as fire doors and there were markings about not propping them open, which I understand. The windows had restricted openings as well. All of the first part of this note would not have mattered a great deal except that it was the hottest days of the year and there is no air conditioning. Without being able to create a through draft it was unpleasantly hot and humid. From the wear seen on a number of doors, it was clear that more than one guest had ignored the "do not prop open" signs. I understand why. Air conditioning would make a big difference.

Lovely smart apartment in great location for a week-end exploring

The check-in was done remotely via a keycode sent to us by email. Very efficient system which worked well. The apartment was well located just outside town centre (walking distance for us). Very well set up with all equipment we needed (including a fan, on one of hottest days of the year). Off-street parking was essential, as the building was on a main road. Beautiful old building on the outside, but very clean and modern on the inside. New decor and furnishings. Liked the touches of the wall art being created from photos of the local area. Good soundproofing between apartments. 10 minutes' walk to the nearest parkrun which was a bonus!

A second fan in the living room would have been a bonus as there wasn't much airflow through.

Highly, highly recommend - excellent accommodation, facilities and location

Absolutely brilliant stay here at the start of May. The location was perfect - a beautiful, short walk along the canal into the centre of town, or can go by road. All the facilities were good quality. Self check in was very handy, parking was excellent. I rented a bike on property, which was so convenient and the owner was incredibly helpful, sending a brilliant route over that covered scenic, peaceful rural areas with stunning views, quiet lanes, towpaths and down into the town to finish at the Brewery - I had an epic day. The bike was fantastic, with cycling clothing and everything available that you would need. Will remember my trip to Stroud for years to come and cannot recommend to stay here enough!

Overall a comfortable apartment

The kitchen was good and had a number of breakfast items eg Juice, porridge, There were plenty of PowerPoints, a heated towel, good double glazing which minimized the road noise and kept the apartment warm.

The couch in the living area was very worn but ok to sit on. Bathroom was small but adequate but would have liked a shelf or something to put toiletries on.

Lovely place to relax and unwind at the end of a very busy day

Self catering so no breakfast. It was 10 minutes walk from the place where l attended a conference- so.perfect location - and near enough to Stroud to walk in. Good parking. Apartment was warm even without the heating on and was very quiet.

Clean comfortable apartment near to the town centre

Liked the space in the apartment, it felt roomy as we had a separate kitchen/sitting area. Nice large bathroom with a good shower. Plenty of clean towels & lotions provided. Liked the extra blankets and little touches such as milk & juices in the fridge! Easy to park and location a short walk to town centre.

Bed although large, was a little uncomfortable for us. All pillows were the same (soft) where it would have been nice to have a couple of firm ones to give a choice, but that's just personal preference as we have different pillow likes.

Excellent location.

The location was excellent with the Stroud canal just 2 minutes away. We managed to walk to Stroud and Stonehouse along the canal and saw the resident heron and many sightings of the wonderful kingfishers. The Saturday market in Stroud is a must see with plenty of independent shops to visit.

I had apartment 1. The virtual check-in/ reception was easy which after a day of traveling is sometimes nice rather than in person. Great facilities, nice size room. Would definitely stay again.
