Really good location, only 5min from Stroud and easy access. Staff and owners very friendly and helpful.

I wouldn’t recommend to people with mobility issues or small children. The access is only via outside stairs that are very narrow, and the garden path is also not very safe.

Friendly welcome. Local for places to eat. Clean bed linen and towels. Quiet. Spacious rooms except one attic room.

The amount of steps to get to the property. Some of the stone steps being steep and narrow. The metal steps were very narrow and awkward when taking luggage up and down. Locks on the bathroom doors would be helpful. Especially with a mixed sex group of friends. Attic room windows couldn't be opened. And in the extreme heat we faced Paul was very uncomfortable up there. The kitchen table was very uneven and rocked quite a bit. Parking was an issue at times. Looking at the booking photo it didn't look as close to the road as it actually was. Was expecting more space at the back to take the dog a walk. From the advert it appeared that is was set in stunning landscape. But we couldn't access this. Some of the furniture needs an upgrade, as the sofa wasn't very comfortable and the other settee had a large dip in it covered over with a blanket. It was very warm inside. One sash window in the lounge wouldn't stay open.
