Nice ambience. Well equipped. Comfortable bed. Very clean.
No window to leave open during the night. Private only with the curtains closed.

Pub seemed nice
They moved my room but didn’t tell me till I got there, I paid for the room twice as they said I hadn’t paid when I got there, the room was hot, noisy with traffic outside and hob didn’t work so I couldn’t make breakfast. They said they gave me a voucher for breakfast to say sorry for room swap but it was only £4 off a very expensive breakfast

Check in and keys were in the pub next door, we were shown into the property, how everything worked etc. Very easy checkin. Fab decor, very comfortable beds, good size rooms. We all slept very well. Cooked up breakfast in the morning, the kitchen was small but had everything we needed. Will be staying again.
There was only 1 coffee pod each ....
The en suite bathroom door squeezed....easily fixed Im sure

Lovely old characterful building. Beautiful bedrooms, both with good en-suites. The Old Fleece Nextdoor was really nice and conveniently close. So you could eat there,or stay in and cook some meals in a kitchenette

We were in the stable and it was very nice, the bed was very comfortable and it had great wifi. The kitchenette would have come in very handy if we were staying longer too. A nice look and feel to the place and a only a few steps to the pub which served great food, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.
It was quite dusty and there were hairs near the sink which is my only complaint. The following are suggestions to consider for future guests comfort.
There was no bath mat provided, so the floor got soaked when having a shower and also no hooks to hang the towel in the bathroom; we didn’t want to hang it in the room because we had coats and clothes hanging so it would have made them damp, therefore a separate hook would be great.
The stable doors are huge that look out into a public space and main road, they only have curtains so we had to keep the curtains shut for privacy and use the lights. Installing blinds would solve this problem to allow light in and get privacy guests need.
Also, if you’re a light sleeper, the main road may keep you awake and there is accomodation above and beside the stable and we could hear people talking and walking around, so take ear plugs just in case. This can’t be helped obviously but just wanted to let future guests know.

A great amount of property. Ideal for a group. The Fleece next door is a huge bonus
Justca little bit of TLC to tidy up some decorating points. Not enough utensils if you decided to do your own catering.

Very comfy bed, clean and with all the facilities needed. Parking is straight outside and the pub were very accomodating in allowing early check-in. We had a lovely meal in the pub that evening.
There was some road noise, and the bathroom needs some hooks/shelves as there is nowhere to hang towels/store toiletries.

Stylish decor, very comfortable beds. Plenty of parking.
There was hardly any cutlery, we planned to eat in before going out, but there was only one fork. When you provide an oven and microwave, you are expecting people to cook and eat surely. Very little in the way of utensils, which is ok for an overnight stay but not longer. We thought that maybe most guests ate at the pub, which is why there was not much in the way of cutlery. This is my third stay here and both times previously we ate at the pub, which was fantastic - highly recommended.

The bedrooms in this accommodation were outstanding. Extremely comfortable, each room had lovely ensuites and large TV's and the rooms were very spacious. We were very tired when we arrived at this property and so we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in the comfy rooms.
Very little to not like, except the kitchen was a bit small. It was no problem for us as we ate at the local pub.

The property was different and quirky.

Could hear the other guests next door who left their dog in the room so barking and crying all night

The property is very lovely decorated and modern , We had a slight issue that meant we had to change placed but the staff acted so quickly helped us with the move and gave us a a free meal in the pub , we couldn't ask for more with their response . I was traveling for work and my family came to say and were able to explore the areas near by . Park was easy and it is dog friendly . The first property we were in there a small area at the front for the dogs to use but this isn't blocked off . the second property had an enclosed area for the dogs to which was fantastic . The fleece pub next door the food is incredibly .

The aesthetic was really pleasant, the TV was nice and big, the property kept warmth really well and the location was great right next to the Old Fleece.
We found dirty used tissues under the bed which was a shame, and the bed was a little hard but nothing bad! Overall a great property and stay which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Due to its proximity to the very fast main road it was not dog friendly (no fencing or gate to stop a dog running out). Cramped room, no ventilation on one of the hottest days of the year… could not have the door open because of the dog/road noise. Nowhere’s to hang towels , not even a hook in the bathroom. No privacy…. Other guests parking their cars could look straight into the room.

The staff member from the pub who met us was warm and welcoming. They even accommodated a slightly earlier check-in so that we could get to the Church on time for a wedding. The accommodation is like a standalone hotel room - it's stylish but not overbearing, with a great shower and mini kitchenette. The bar staff even kindly gave us a small jug of milk for the fridge so we could have a tea in the morning!
Possibly on the more expensive end and could have been a little less, but we were pleased with the convenience of location to attend a wedding nearby and the handy car park was a plus. The staff were really friendly and the accommodation is smart and cosy.

All good except the hot water was not switched on so my husband had 2 cold showers . Once we alerted your great staff it was switched on and 20 mins later we had hot water . The Tv ( huge that it was ) we could not get to work ! Your pub is great and staff are exceptional.
As above .and I like a top sheet as I get hot at night.
The bathroom light switch did not work so it was left on all night with the door closed .

We liked the cottage, a very convenient place to stay. We enjoyed our two nights.
There was no milk, tea, or coffee left .
Though the pub was next door, for us to buy a drink.
No information about the place or local area.
Very little cleaning products. Only fairy liquid .Not even a dishcloth, or towel.
We would still come again , but would now know to bring cleaning products.

The bedrooms are stunning with huge TVs, great showers and very good size beds.
LED lighting in second bedroom is fab!
Kitchen equipment is poor - no oven gloves, knives, chopping boards etc etc...
No instruction book or manual for TVs, heating system, oven or any general info.
No check-in info - I had to call the owner on the day.

Very comfortable bed and room. The restaurant food was good with very friendly staff.
The stables had a small kitchenette with a sink, but the tap didn’t work, not really an issue, but then we couldn’t get the Main shower to work on the morning we left. The door to the en suite made a terrible creaking noise so we decided to leave it open all night, rather than keep opening it during the night, as we didn’t want to disturb the people upstairs. However, movement in the room switched on the automatic light at intervals throughout the night. We didn’t mention any of this when leaving as it was only for one night.
