Kanonika Homes Captain's Cabin

Evrything was perfect, the view is absolutely stunning. The apartment was very clean and very well stocked with kitchen supplies. We had the amazing chance to be alone in the whole property so it was even better for the dog to have the whole yard for herself.

The view was wonderful, everything that was outside was great, we enjoyed the coffee from the house 🙂

The noise from the main road

All details (all kitchen equipment, coffee machines and even coffee, washing detergents, mosquito repellents, decorative candles, bbq, sunbed, shampoos etc) were considered for our comfortable stay. Great view and a big garden. Quite and peaceful. A very helpful personnel (KOSTAS the Great helper ) Very well decorated and details are considered. Close to Neos Marmaras ( around 5 km) and close to very nice sandy beaches. House has to 2 bathrooms.

Close to road. Vehicle noise especially during weekend nights can be an issue. House is by the sea but the beach is not sand. Only rocks. Access the beach is not was comfortable. Stairs in the house are steep and tight. If you have small kids you can have problems. Also, carrying a big luggage upstairs can be problematic for some people.

What you see in pics is not what you get, unfortunately. Captain's Cabin is the rightmost area in the pics showing the entire building on the outside (pic number 28 of 66). One of the reasons we've chosen this place was because it says it offers privacy. Well, it does not. There are 6 accommodation units within that garden, out of which 4 units are under one roof, one close to another. So close that you may hear when the WC is used at the other unit. One accommodation has 65 square meters spread highwise on four levels: living room, kitchen, first bedroom, second bedroom. The first floor bedroom (the one with a fish painting) has walls made of thick drapes, one on the side overseeing the living room downstairs and another one supposedly offering privacy from the stairs area. The sea exit … does not exist – there is a flight of stairs that ends all of a sudden, 3 meters above the shore, no way to reach the sea from the property. Also, do not expect to find some fruits or a bottle of water in the fridge upon arrival. There’s nothing. And by nothing I mean not even spare garbage bags. Cleanliness is a relative concept for Stavros: towels and sheets were changed only once, on the 8th day of our 10 day staying.
