Feel like at your home .. in Milan

If you are looking for a place to stay on your leisure trip, then, this is the best place next to Milan.. Away from the daily hustle bustle of a city.. located on the banks of a lake.. calm and quite.. the proporty is having its own botanical garden.. spread in acres of land.. you can Njoy the beauty of the lake Maggiore.. as well as a trek to the nearest hill .. 3500 feet heigh.. can go for walk.. Njoy the best gelato and best of the pizza on the lake side.. Last but not the least.. Ms Sylvia, who takes care of your stay is always there to help you out.. and.. She is a very good chef also.. the breakfast time is the best time .. you will Njoy with your family.. Suggested to keep few cycles ( both manual. And battery operated) for easy commuting to the nearest market.. Thanks

Es war insgesamt ein wunderschöner und erholsamer Kurzurlaub am Lago Maggiore.

Die Lage innerhalb einer abgeschlossenen Parkanlage, mit direktem Zugang zum Lago Maggiore, ist einfach traumhaft. Ebenso traumhaft ist der Park an sich, sehr schön angelegt, wunderbarer Baumbestand und top gepflegt. Herzlichen Dank auch an Silvia, sie ist, im besten Sinne, die gute Seele des Hauses und sorgt mit ihrer herzlichen Art dafür, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an wohl fühlt.

Bauartbedingt (tief heruntergezogenes Dach) hat man vom Zimmer aus keinen Blick auf den Park. Die Betten sind gewöhnungsbedürftig, da man, auf Grund der durchgehenden Matratze, jede Bewegung des Partners unmittelbar auch mit ausführt.

Erholsame Tage in einem Natur-Refugium

Außerordentlich aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service beim Empfang und während des Frühstücks, tolle Lage (fußläufig entfernt gibt es mehrere Restaurants), der Park ist ein Paradies für Ruhesuchende.

Matratzen waren sehr weich, beim grundsätzlich guten Frühstück hätten wir uns noch über etwas Pikantes (ein wenig Käse und Wurst) gefreut.

Paradiesische Unterkunft

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einem paradiesischen botanischen Park im kleinen Ortsteil Cerro. Die Unterkunft hat nur 3 Wohneinheiten (ehemalige Stallungen, die sehr geschmackvoll ausgebaut sind), deshalb ist es sehr ruhig und man hat den Riesen-Park praktisch für sich allein, die Gäste können sich wunderbar "aus dem Weg gehen". Es gibt mehrere See-Zugänge. Badeschuhe sind von Vorteil.. Wir genossen besonders, in der Ruhe am Ufer zu sitzen, die wunderbare Stille zu erleben und dem Treiben auf dem See zuzuschauen. Hin und wieder bekamen wir Besuch von den zwei sehr entzückenden kleinen Hunden des Besitzers :). Auch nach kleinen Ausflügen zog es uns immer wieder zurück. Der Besitzer des Anwesens wohnt in der Villa in der Mitte des Parks, und ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir haben von ihm und Silvia sehr gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants bekommen. Um zur Unterkunft zu gelangen ist ein Auto fast Pflicht, Polidora liegt schon etwas abgelegen, und auf der engen Landstraße zum nächsten Ort würde ich niemals radfahren oder gar spazieren - das ist viel zu gefährlich und abends viel zu dunkel. Fußläufig gibt es ein paar nette Restaurants und 5 min Fußweg entfernt einen hübschen öffentlichen Strand, wo man leichter ins Wasser kommt. 10 Autominuten entfernt liegt das etwas größere und sehr hübsche Laveno-Mombello, von wo aus auch eine Autofähre ans West-Ufer geht. Am 15.August gibt es in Laveno-Mombello jedes Jahr ein Riesen-Feuerwerk, zu dem man allerdings rechtzeitig in den Ort fahren muss, von Polidora aus sieht man nichts davon. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die sehr freundliche und zuvorkommemde Silvia hat es ganz auf unsere Wünsche abgestimmt, mit frischen Früchten, Beeren, diversen Joghurts, Schinken, Ei, Croissants.... Wir verbrachten 6 unglaublich erholsame Tage in Polidora.

Der See-Zugang ist nicht ganz einfach. Schön wäre ein Steg mit Einstiegsleiter. Man kann auch nur im seichten Wasser in Ufernähe schwimmen, da viele schnelle Boote recht nah am Ufer vorbeifahren.

Non c’è niente che non mi è piaciuto. Per rendere ancora più bella l’esperienza, suggerisco solo di aggiungere una scelta di guanciali (1 sottile e uno più grande) un eventuale topper.
