The location was very nice country area yet not far from Letterkenny and Milford was also a lovely local village which was very handy.

Sehr nette Gastgeber und ihr Hund Teddy ist einmalig.
Großes sehr sauberes Zimmer. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig mitten in der Natur gelegen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Casa bellissima, ambiente tranquillo, stanze molto grandi, letti comodi e bagno pulito. La proprietaria gentilissima e accogliente. Abbiamo adorato il nostro soggiorno seppur breve. Felici anche di aver incontrato Teddy, il loro bellissimo cane!

Kelmin House is located on a farm, in the north of County Donegal. Mary, the proprietor, is one of the most outgoing & charming people you could meet. Her house is attractively furnished, with an eye for detail. The double-room where I slept is perhaps the largest & most comfortable I've stayed in.
Kelmin House is situated about a twenty-two minute drive north of Letterkenny; or eight minutes, by car, from the village of Milford. It's an excellent base for exploring the northern peninsulas of County Donegal.
Things to bear in mind...
* You will have the use of the kitchen to cook for yourself. In the morning, Mary helpfully laid out place-settings, milk, orange juice, etc., on the kitchen table; she also made tea, coffee & toast. I brought porridge, eggs & fruits; and prepared my breakfast.
* You'll have to be a confident driver on the country roads in the vicinity: they're narrow & winding. Be vigilant.
* In case you have a fear of dogs: there are two beautiful dogs roaming around outside.
I hope to stay at Kelmin House again. It's a fabulous place.
