The apartment was really lovely. It was clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic with restaurants located nearby and all attractions within walkable distance. The roof terrace was an added bonus. The staff were easily contactable and also provided a local office to leave our luggage after checkout. Would recommend to friends and family.

A light outside the main door would be appreciated to access the lock more easily.

The apartment was in a great location of the city with plenty of good restaurants in the vicinity. We tried Cumplice Steakhouse, Elebe, Maria Rita and Terraplana Café and would recommend all of them. The air conditioning in the apartment was excellent, but only had one controller. The beds were very comfortable. The tvs were easy to use. There was plenty of hot water. Enjoyed the use of the roof terrace. There were 2 sets of keys.

The check-in procedure was non existent. The message shown below was received on the day of check-in, but we're still waiting for this information. "Closer to the date you will receive all the information about your stay and check-in via Whatsapp in the form of a practical and intuitive video." I had to message on arrival to ask for the information, was initially given the wrong code before eventually gaining entry. Apartment 3E is suitable for 3 people. There is a lack of storage in the 2nd bedroom and bathroom. There was no information in the apartment about practical things like emergency numbers and what to do with rubbish. The facilities info on Booking.com stated there was a washing machine, but that is not the case. A shelf was missing from the fridge door causing problems with storage. No hand towels are provided. No brush, dustpan or mop available for cleaning floors. The washing up liquid dispenser leaked over the worksurface.

The apartment was great for 2 people, may have been a bit crowded for 4. There were 2 bathrooms with plenty of towels and a hairdryer. The location was great for walking to all the interesting sights and to the Douro river. There were plenty of restaurants and supermarkets in the vicinity too. The rooftop terrace is nice to cool down in the evening with a drink.

The keys to the apartment were a bit tricky to operate, sometimes it took us 10 minutes to get inside the apartment. The washing machine isn't in the apartment but in a laundry room on the roof terrace, as is the iron and ironing board! Didn't really bother us though.

The property was nice - clean and well decorated. The roof terrace is nice. The area is good - the square nearby has lots of places to eat and drink.

We were a group of 3 females and had an incident where we arrived home late at night and the lock would not work. We contacted the owner for help us get into the property via all emergency numbers and nobody responded. Thankfully we got in eventually but nobody ever got back to us to check we were ok. The bedrooms are very noisy.
