Guest House - close to all amenities

Spent a great weekend in Northampton. The location of this property was perfect for us - halfway between the centre of town and the venue we were attending (at the cricket ground). We also spent time during the day at the really beautiful (and nearby) Abington Park with its lovely open spaces, museum and cafe which my young family enjoyed. The location of the property is close to a fairly busy street with bars, fast food joints and mini markets. Fairly lively at night but we were not affected by noise at all. And once you're in the property you wouldn't know how close to these amenities you are. Check in and check out was easy and we bumped into the cleaning team who were very nice and did an excellent job.

Beds were awful. Felt every spring

The house had plenty of on street parking. There were a lot of restaurants and eateries around. The house was really cosy and clean, I loved the special touches of sweet treats and got drinks. When we struggled to use hot water, I messaged the host who immediately called me and got it sorted.

The only negative, which is no fault of the hosts, is that the neighbours used the shared space for a loud BBQ and party that went on until 2am ish. We didnt get the best night sleep and it was tricky with young children!

Neighbours able to see into bedroom window while smoking in courtyard. Leak through ceiling into shared entrance when someone takes a shower.
