Fab stay at Carlton House!

We had an exceptional stay at Carlton House. It was very clean and homely. It really felt like a home away from home! My daughter loved the toys they provided, we felt this was such a lovely touch as many places do not offer this! The games room was such a nice chill, we enjoyed the mini golf! I've already recommended Carlton House to friends and family! The hosts are so friendly, welcoming and understanding! Great hospitality and customer services. Location was perfect too! Parking right outside the property which was great! We would 100% book again! Thank you so much for a fab stay :)

Definitely worth the price that we paid to stay

The available space was much bigger than I thought. Parking was easy and property was close to the venue we were attending that weekend. Nice sized property was definitely a good find for the price.

The hob in the kitchen was problematic to use as it kept switching itself off. It was a good thing we only used the kitchen to make breakfast. Needs a full size iron and ironing board. What was available was far too small. Overall cleaning of the property before our arrival could have been much better.

House perfect for our needs. Young kids loved the basement with entertainment. Beds comfortable, property clean

Shower has large crack in tray so reported. No locks on bathroom doors and no hand towels or shower mat in bathrooms

A good accommodation option for several people

The location had various game options for children, but we didn't use them because we were leaving early in the morning and returning late in the evening... Independent house, quiet area and with coffee and cocoa available... A good accommodation option for exploring the surroundings. Very easy to do check-in and check out.

The most difficult thing was to be able to pay the deposit for the accommodation, because I found that in some countries access to that link is blocked, but with Vlad's help it was solved. The return was much easier... The photos that suggest the presence of some fruits and a sparkling wine should be abandoned, because they are no longer offered...

Crisp / clean and can’t wait to rebook this soon

Although the stay wasn’t straight forward due to uncontrollable circumstances, the communication and feedback from the host was amazing and we where fully kept in the loop about all changes

Loved that mostly everything provided - was just missing an oven tray but everything else great. Loved the little basement and added board games etc.

Struggle to park sometimes with onstreet carpark but car was safe. Sadly the smoke alarm needed change of batteries so kept beeping the whole of our visit but that’s easily fixable.

Nice place little bit of investment make it excellent.

Lovely staff to deal with. Welcome chocolate and drinks nice touch for my daughters birthday. Nice kitchen and bathroom.

Small investment could improve comfort. Bath mat as bathroom floor freezing. Bedside lights in 2 twin rooms missing. There were rechargeable wall lights but not charged and no cable. Hooks on hall for coats as 6 winter coats had no place to hang. Hook with hand towel in toilet. Thin layer of dust in bedrooms as if it had been empty for a while. Needed to wipe them all down. Dirty oven tray in oven. So very .minor things but had impact on comfort. Staff responsive.

A functional and modern space for our family of 5 and 2 dogs.

The house is well located and has ample space and a good secure garden for pets. The kitchen is well appointed and the living spaces are functional. There is a big focus on the tech, consoles and games etc.

The home appeared to be in progress, i.e. no blinds or curtains for the kitchen or bathroom. The property would benefit from a more robust bed as it did feel a little unsteady. I would also prefer if towels were provided for all, there were a few and we brought our own along so it was okay. The freezer defrosted our foods, so we aren't sure if it's the settings or if it's not working.

A lovely little house for a short stay in Northampton

A lovely house nicely decorated. The dining table and kitchen were lovely. The kitchen was well fitted out and with tea, coffee, sugar and salt and pepper provided and it had a lovely courtyard garden. The hosts left a bottle of red wine which was a lovely touch. The house and bedding/towels were clean and fresh.

The bathroom was very cold and although we put the heating on this room never warmed up. The master bed was very comfortable but a bit unstable/creaky and the single bed mattresses were very thin and therefore a bit uncomfortable.
