Rosa apartment

We had a pleasant stay, and the host was extremely friendly, accommodating, and responsive throughout our visit. We especially appreciated being given an additional three hours to check out, which was very thoughtful and helpful.We appreciated the host’s warm hospitality and excellent communication.

The only issue was that the room became uncomfortably hot, even with the fan running.

The guy was SUPER lovely, he put so much care into our time, offering us extra fans as it was so hot! & recommending restaurants & bars. The apartment is in a great location so close to everything in Venice. The facilities are amazing, washing machine, clothes horse, a shower with a built in radio!! & kitchen & dining room. Really good value for money :)

Rosa Apartment is located in an old historic building just off a canal in the Cannaregio neighborhood of Venice. The apartment rooms are full of antiques-some truly unique pieces of furniture. The room was very comfortable-furnished with a Persian rug, an antique wardrobe, and bureau with art noveau mirror. The kitchen is fully equipted for guests who wish to cook meals. There is a large dining room with a large hardwood table. The bathrooms are shared, but are perfectly fine, and I never had to wait for one to open up. There are many quality restaruants, cafes, and bars in the immediate area, and the Ca' d'Oro Vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal is an easy walk away.

Nice having a view of the canal but this was the only upside to the stay, which was more of a hostel than an apartment.

Sharing a bathroom only came to light through other comments viewed at a later date, which was disappointing. Bathrooms were grubby with one shower head that was completely broken. There were no towels provided in our room and no obvious availability. The creme colored vinel bed head was flaking and dirty, along with the vinal chairs in the room. Host communication was extremely concerning for an international visiting Venice for the first time. After numerous emails and messages over three weeks we were only communicated with two days prior to arrival, which is not acceptable. We nearly booked another property! Be warned when booking these "Apartments"!
