Khayalethu Cottage

Loved our stay here! Comfortable furnishings, supplies to light the fire provided. The gardens are spectacular and that they lead you onto the Bluff walk enhanced our stay, enjoying sunset there when the weather permitted.

Lots of ants. The grill isn't working in the oven. Needs new pots/pans as current ones have been badly scrapped by others. A lamp would be lovely in the sitting area for dim lighting in the evening. Seal the draughts in the door.

It was not difficult to find the location, and it is a self-accommodation the kitchen was very neat all the utensils were provided.

I liked everything about the place.

The location is amazing! More like a fairytale garden around the whole property. The tranquility and serenity is what we really needed to wind down!

The solar electricity failed in the morning due to an overcast morning, but the we were directed on how to switch to the grid electricity. Also the absence of the microwave oven might be a bit of a challenge for self catering.

Khayalethu was quiet, secluded and beautiful. We could only imagine what the extensive garden must look like in spring and summer. We took many walks within the property, enjoying the diversity of plants. We also enjoyed a well-maintained, beautiful 3 km loop path that took us along the edge of the forest and valley. The north-facing cottage was lovely, and we enjoyed soaking up the sun on the veranda.

The addition of comfortable garden furniture would have been appreciated
