Utrolig fin utsikt. Må ha bil for å komme seg rundt. Husk at det er en nabo villa ved siden av. Mr Manolis var veldig gjestfri og hyggelig når han tok oss imot og når vi så han her og der. Mange gode tavernaer i nærheten. Svarte raskt når vi skrev på booking.com.
Basseng ble ikke rengjort i løpet av tiden vi var der selvom det ble sagt at det skulle gjøres. Veldig hadde senger. Fikk naboklage av andre villaen pga musikk på dagtid. Skjønner dette ikke har med dere å gjøre men kanskje lurt at folk skjønner det er to villaer vedsiden av hverandre. Harde senger og dårlig aircondition på det ene rommet.

Wir haben im Oktober die Villa für 6 Personen inkl. (1 Jährigem Kind) gemietet. Die Villa war vollbesetzt ausreichend gross. Der zweite Esstisch im Aussenbereich brachte nach einem Strandtag alle wieder zusammen bei einer herrlichen Aussicht aufs Meer. Wir schätzten den grossen Aussenbereich mit Dusche, Pool, Schaukel, Rasenfläche etc. Unser Kind konnte sich austoben ohne jemanden zu stören und konnte dabei viel Entdecken! Es gab genügend Abstand zur Nachbarvilla.
Wie der Gastgeber informiert, sollten genügend Lebensmittel (inkl. Wasser) mitgebracht werden, da die Küstenstrassen viel Zeit zum nächsten Supermarkt in Anspruch nehmen, auch wenn sie Problemlos zu fahren sind. Die Küche inkl. Gasgrill im Aussenbereich war voll ausgestattet. Die umliegenden Mini-Märkte haben ein genügendes Sortiment und sind zum Beispiel beim Strand Elafonisi mehrfach vertreten.
Herzlichen Dank an die sehr freundlichen Gastgeber, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dieser aussergewöhnlichen Villa und würden sehr gerne wieder kommen!
Es gab total 6 Matratzen wobei alle unterschiedlich hart oder Weich gefedert waren. Das Doppelbett im EG ist nach unserem Empfinden sehr weich gefedert. Wenn man Platz zum ausweichen hat, sicherlich kein Problem.

Wer Ruhe, Privatsphäre und einen traumhaften Ausblick mit himmlischen Sonnenuntergängen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Toll ausgestattete Villa mit großem Pool und einem superfreundlichen Gastgeber. Er war stets erreichbar, gab uns wertvolle Informationen zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Ausflugszielen und hat uns den Aufenthalt sehr komfortabel gestaltet. Bei der Abgelegenheit ist ein PKW unerlässlich und man sollte schon in einem Supermarkt in Kissamos am besten einen Großeinkauf auf dem Hinweg zur Villa tätigen, denn es gibt nur kleinere Läden in der Nähe, die auch nur mit PKW zu erreichen sind.
WLAN war in den oberen 2 Schlafzimmern leider nicht verfügbar, dafür aber auf der oberen Terrasse.

We stayed at Villa Demetra for 7 nights in July 2022. The villa is utterly gorgeous - loved it. From the infinity pool - which is a brilliant length to properly swim in (4m x 12m), to the lovely plaster finishes and stunning floor tiles, the villa is ‘to die for’. We wanted a week to relax in complete comfort and peace, and it was the absolute perfect choice. The villa is brand new and the finish on a property has been done superbly.
Our kids (8 and 11) also loved the villa and adored the pool. They did night swims in the evenings – so many hotels and resorts close their pools early in the evening, so it was wonderful to be somewhere hot and still be able to take an evening swim. We also really appreciated the infinity pool. It not only looks beautiful, but it also keeps the pool really clean (all leaves fall out if the edge). The pool is 140cm deep throughtout (apart from the steps to the pool) and has no shallow end. This did not bother us as our kids can swim (and it was really good for our 8 year old's self confidence) but can be an issue for younger kids.
The area around the villa is remote and quiet, but there are lovely tavernas in nearby vllages within 6-10km drive (where there is also a small supermarket). We ofter had lunch at the villa and drove to a taverna for dinner. There is one local taverna within walking distance. Elafonisi is 10km drive away via the coastal route (do not believe google maps and take the longer route which takes 47mins!).
The owners were really responsive and eveything went smoothly. Can recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay at their own luxury villa and we would definitely stay here again. Miss it already!
