Great place to stay in Maya Beach. Hotel has the old Belize feel about it. Friendly staff! Very relaxing! Sit on the porch and watch the sunrise in the morning. Enjoy the pool with a tropical drink in the afternoon. Walk out onto the beach and swim in the ocean. Just a short walk to some awesome restaurants. Good breakfast in the morning. Definitely would stay there again.

The host is amazing. For us, she is a large part of why we returned to vacation their again. She is extremely helpful, willing and accommodating, and helped make our experience seamless and relaxing. She is attentive, warm, professional, and friendly. She helped us with arrangements: i.e. golf cart rental and tour. We like the location, it is close to several good restaurants. We greatly appreciated the sports equipment that is offered on site. The family had a fun time taking advantage of the equipment and playing in the ocean.
We really liked the king deluxe suite, however, the building is showing its age and could use some attention.
On the interior, there are small maintenance and housecleaning type issues that, when attended to, would really add to a more positive experience all round.
There is a full kitchen, but few supplies to use besides plates and glasses.
Outside, a lounge chair or two could use some attention.
We are easy going people, but other guests may have higher expectations.
Breakfast was tasty with a nice variety of fruit, but it would be nice if there could be a bit of a mixup on what is offered for breakfast from day to day, like oatmeal, toast, peanut butter/jelly, etc.

The management were impressively, helpful, and engaged. The property is incredibly close to the water. The unit we stayed in had an incredible amount of interesting decorative items. Most I didn’t really notice until the third day there. Multiple excellent restaurants can be found just a short walk down the beach. The property has small paddle boats and fishing rods available to enjoy!
