Beautiful, luxurious forest surrounding the house, plenty of outdoor space, a cosy and roomy home, and friendly hosts.
Some equipment could use improvement (no comfortable sofa, and the shower takes a while to warm up due to a complicated electrical system). Be prepared to deal with mosquitos.
Also, the nearby Marconi Nord highway entrance is reserved for Telepass users only, which makes the location feel further from Bologna, Modena, and other nearby cities we wanted to visit.

You will have a large private park which is shared with the family that lives there. The owners take great care to give you your privacy. We saw foxes, hares and 1001 birds. There is a Coop supermarket at a 25 minute walk. We ate very good at Osteria dei Sani and Trattoria Vecchia Roma. David, the host, is very responsive and speaks English well.
You will need a car. We thought we would manage with taxis and the bus but the taxis are hard to find. We dont blame the host though, just a miscalculation on our side.
