What a lovely little self contained unit with the most spectacular view which changed with the weather. It was the little extras that made it, the bottle of bubbles, fresh flowers and the Kellogg variety pack … a blast from the past. But the friendly chicken who came to say hi on arrival was perfect.

Trina was an exceptional host, going out of her way to make our anniversary feel extra special with thoughtful touches throughout the property. Magnificent stay

Secluded minimalist Skye getaway

We loved having a little secluded spot right on the water. We appreciated the welcoming treats left for us by Trina which makes self-catering much more comfortable. The pod is setup really cleverly and we enjoyed having snacks and simple meals both inside and outside overlooking the sea. As with most accommodation along the coastline here, you are situated just off a main road, so if you're sensitive to sound then bring along some earplugs for cars driving past. We found the location of the pod to be perfect for us. We visited the old man of storr, kilt rock, fairy glen and the fairy pools over our two nights on the Isle of Skye. The beds were comfortable and even though we did not need them (we were blessed with amazing weather), the hot water bottle and additional blankets were appreciated.

It would have been nice to have just one little sharp knife for the kitchen, but that is literally the only thing I can think of.

The pod was very cute with lovely views over the bay/loch. Tastefully decorated and with all things required. Host very approachable and kind. Romantic. At base of the 2 main routes for exploration of the Isle so good location. 5min from main town and shops with place to dine.

Hard to find in the dark with minimal road signage. Close to road but minimal traffic during the night (stayed late spring/early winter) so not noisy at all. I summer imagine easier to find as can see pod from road.

The location was excellent. The pod was cute and comfy. Host was super friendly and helpful. Lots of little bonuses. This was probably my favorite accommodations in 2 weeks and 9 places. Would love to come back and stay again. It was amazing.

Perfect stay in Skye.

Everything was amazing, the host was very kind and left us a few warming welcome gifts that made us feel at home. All was clean and comfortable, plenty of towels and pillows. Nice parking space and easy to find. Private beach if you fancy a cold dip. But the most amazing thing was without a doubt the view, is breathtaking. (If you struggle with light while sleeping take a sleeping mask)

That unfortunately is was only two nights.

The location was absolutely splendid, personal touches and we couldn't believe how spotless it was 👍🏻

There wasn't an ashtray for use outdoors and the only bin was in the bathroom. Those are the only things that we noticed which is more a point for the owner as I imagine some guests won't be courteous and will make her job easier upon cleaning on checkout.

Der einzige Wermutstropfen an unserem Aufenthalt war das Wetter. Wir waren wandern aber es half halt geregnet. :-) okay,

Toll gelegen.. direkt am Wasser und wenn man moegens aufwacht, schaut man direkt auf Wasser und die Berge. Der nächste Ort mit einem Coop liegt etwa 10 Autominuten entfernt.

Keinerlei Beanstandungen.. es war einfach toll

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Der Ausblick aus dem Apartment ist einfach atemberaubend – besonders bei Sonnenuntergang ein echtes Highlight. Man merkt sofort, wie viel Liebe zum Detail in der Einrichtung steckt, alles ist geschmackvoll, durchdacht und sehr gemütlich. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich, wie unglaublich sauber alles war – vom Bad bis zur Küche wirklich makellos. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Absolute Empfehlung!

Fantastische locatie en knus klein huisje

Het uitzicht was fantastisch! Ik wist niet wat een ‘POD’ was, maar we waren blij verrast. Erg grappig zo’n klein huisje. Het was brandschoon! Het bed lag heerlijk en het was super handig ingericht. De gastvrouw had gezorgd voor koffie en melk en er stond zelfs een fles prosecco.

Je kan er niet echt koken, behalve een maaltijd in de magnetron opwarmen. In de buurt zijn echter wel leuke eetgelegenheden. Deli Gusta had super lekker pizza’s. We vonden het wel flink aan de prijs voor de kleine ruimte, maar ach, de rest maakte het weer allemaal goed.
