Amazing location with beautiful scenery! The host is such a kind man who is incredibly passionate about the animal he homes on the property (Galapagos giant tortoises, emus, cats, and more!). Attached to the hotel is an AMAZING museum filled with magnificent geology and paleontology finds!!
The room was very comfortable and had all the amenies needed, and very clean!
Breakfast was delicious with fresh bread, homemade jams, lovely warm eggs.
I was so impressed by this magical place and cannot wait to return!

Klassiek zuid duits dorps hotel zonder opsmuk. Maar een geweldige geschiedenis.

Die Lage des Hauses ist für die Übernachtung auf der Fahrt nach Süden ideal. Absolut ruhig , am Fahrrad-und Spatzierweg kann man die ländliche Idylle genießen. Das Frühstück ist gut. Das Personal einfach und freundlich. Bonus für E-Mobilisten : unweit beim Penny-Markt in Flintsbach gibt es eine Ladesäule. Man darf sich allerdings nicht an den vielen Katzen im Haus stören. Sie sind da, aber nicht aufdringlich oder frech.
Es fehlt ein bisschen frischer Wind und Modernität im Haus.
