Character of the hotel was lovely. A very quirky hotel with good facilities and a great Italian restaurant on-site. We were booked in the room by the reception but due to another review that room could be noisy we asked for another room. We were given room 201 but had to pay an extra 20 euros. The room was nice and clean and had nice shower gel. Nice breakfast.
One member of staff on reception on arrival was not really friendly, a general view when talking to staff. (Only lady on breakfast was helpful and pleasant) Also, room 201 was very overlooked, especially in the bathroom where there was only one curtain where there should have been 2. This was rather embarrassing, especially as the bathroom was overlooked. Also, the bed was uncomfortable, and the tv was very old and not a smart tv. Also, the room was noisy.

Comfortable bed, great room, nice personel. Everything clean.
Lady at breakfast should prepare more cheese, salami and meat. It wasn't enough. She bring few slices (6-8) each time.

This hotel looks like an old monastery but it is new. It has odd hallways, tiny rooms and intimate restaurant with delicious food. Old wood everywhere, made with style, bathrooms with glass sink, little wooden windows. Beds have a soft top.
The hotel is next to a shopping centre and busy road, not at all were you would expect it. But somehow it feels isolated.

The hotel had a unique style and very beautiful and interesting rooms. So a great place to stay when you are in Rosenheim.
Even though it was cold outside, the rooms were a bit muggy. So I wonder how it would be in hot weather without air-conditioning.

Amazing and unique location, great restaurant, easy parking and lots of facilities.
Unfortunately the room was quite noisy, with a lot of noise coming from the hallway through the door, resulting in a bad night sleep.

Looks nice
No air condition in the room. The temperature gets fine during the night, but it is absolutely hard to be in the room during the day on the 2nd floor.

We loved the unique experience of staying in a beautifully restored old monastery. The design and decoration gave it so much character. The breakfast was very nice, and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
The family room felt a bit small for four adults, and the bathroom was also very tight. The mattress made creaking sounds whenever we moved, which was a little distracting during sleep.

Food could be better, after complaining for uncooked chicken, Waiter said thats how Italian chiefs prefer to cook - half cooked chicken. Interesting:D
Room was not well noise insulated and the water was coming out from bath area.

Interesting character hotel and amazing restaurant. Water bed wasn’t really our scene and ended up sleeping on sofa bed instead
Lots of stairs, no lift, didn’t like water bed

We liked that it had on site parking and its own restaurant. We asked and received an upgrade ( €20 addition) as our standard room was surrounded by scaffolding with builders working when we arrived). The whole hotel interior was modelled on a converted convent made to appear medieval. it was quirky and had some interesting touches. The bathroom was very elegant and it was all very clean. There was lots of cupboard space and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Much was made of the fact that this room had a water bed and a curtain to resemble it being a four poster bed.
Thé restaurant was similarly entirely designed with rustic wood everywhere and served perfectly good Italian dishes, including pizza. Breakfast was served in a separate area, more like a refectory and we were offered an excellent choice. Overall the service was good enough. On returned from visiting the town a very helpful parking attendant indicated where we could park, this was much appreciated.
On arrival we did not recognise the facade as being our hotel as it was essentially surrounded by building works as they set about extending it. we were grateful for the upgrade as our reserved room was small and surrounded by scaffolding making it extremely dark. The hotel overlooks commercial buildings and its rustic, medieval design looks misplaced. We arrived when reception and other staff were trying out hotel slippers clearly being offered by a travelling rep. At first no one moved to greet us and we were left standing awkwardly waiting. The young woman receptionist recovered herself and proved very helpful and positive in finding us a replacement room. Thé man on reception seemed to be having an « off day », he was rather sullen. Service in the restaurant was adequate but the low ceilings and very low lighting meant we needed our torches to read the menu. There were also lots of very loud talking men which made it a less pleasant ambience. The hotel is not really within easy walking distance of Rosenheim’s attractive Alt Stadt and the traffic gridlock seemed to go on forever, perhaps made worse by the heavy rain.

The decor was nice with a medieval monastery feel.
We booked a last minute room while on our way to final destination. We were given ROOM 16 WHICH IS A VERY NOISY SHOEBOX 3 METERS FROM THE RECEPTION. Other reviews have stated the same complaint with rude reception and management only stating that it was in the room description. You got the feeling that it was a “bait and switch tactic” to get you to upgrade for an extra 20 euros. A 4 STAR HOTEL DOES NOT HAVE A ROOM LIKE THIS. If anything the room should have been a storage closet or at its best a small business room.

There was nothing that I liked. The restaurant was bad. Unfriendly and noisy...
The rooms were too hot and no fresh air. The hallways makes you feel claustrophobic it is like a labyrinth to find your room no clear indication. The hotel looks like a dungeon. Your constantly hear spaghetti-music and I hate this Italo music. After eating in the dark (almost no light) restaurant I was sick. The carpaccio should be avoided; too acid without balsamico! The Saltimbocca was served microwaved veggies. The personnel were dressed up like monks and were very unpleasant and unfriendly.

unique fun building/room.
nice design. tasty food at the restaurant. great breakfast.
we got two deluxe family rooms for 3people each. payed same amount for both rooms, but one room wasn’t a deluxe at all. it was regular double room with sofa bed - means no couch. I could’ve paid less for the room. another room was very nice with extra loft space with another bed. we also had a sofa. they only gave us one correct room. I mentioned about it at the checkout, but they didn’t adjust the price.

Lovely comfortable bedrooms. stylish bathrooms and nice decor everywhere. Friendly helpful staff.
It was lacking a larger social space such as a lounge or foyer or atrium with comfy chairs. I also was not very impressed with breakfast.

The decoration, atmosphere of the hotel is very nice, the restaurant is excellent. Referring to our previous experiences at this hotel, we decided to come again, however it has been a bit disappointing.
The housekeeping did not do his job this time. When we arrived there was two towel sets in the room, although it was a room for three. Despite informing the reception in the morning that the housekeeping should put three sets of towel, the room was not cleaned at all. The towels were not changed, the beds were not made. Especially when you are travelling for business, you expect a much better service after an exhausting day.

It's a converted convent we are told. It's a real rabbit warren with lots of quirky bits. I decided to forgive the excesses and go with the concept. Good Italian restaurant.
Room was not ready til after four. A coffee maker is provided but you have to get a cup from reception. Breakfast cost extra (would have eaten more!).
