a hidden gem with perfect location for mountain touring or skiing

Spacious room with a wonderful mountain view and also over the valley. Very good beds and an excellent restraurant with exceptionally well prepared game meat 🥰 All in all a "hidden gem" of the beaten track but close enough for the high way so that dozens of ski areas in Austria can be visited on a daily bases. There's also a Bayrischzell ski area just 20 minutes away. The glaciers like Stubaier Gletscher can be reached in 70-80 minutes by car.

Nice view with least amount of access from staff

Wifi and its speed

The staff needs to make sure that all customers should have received the building access code via email and texting. There were no staff available after 5pm and even at 9am.

for a short stay close to the wilderness ok

great location for mountain lovers, amazing views, good for a short stay (in my case it was 1 night only), homemade kitchen

- only 1 small soap, no cosmetic kit included - only one electrical outlet in the room, far away from the bed - no fruits nor vegetables for the breakfast

Pleasant

As vegan I didn't have much options to choose from. I would prefere more veggies and some vegan spread and vegan milk for my breakfast. (I saw another guest to use her own vegan milk but I didn't bring any)

The overall atmosphere of the place was not as I expected for that cost. I couldn't connect to wife (no problem at different places). A lady on the phone insisted on having covid test taken 24h before my arrival eventhough I had PCR test 36h old. When I got there, no one even asked me if I had any test. At one point during afternoon there was really loud music playing as if there was disco downstairs.

Very nice place, absolute recommendation!

The hotel is situated in a postcard setting. Staff, and especially the owner, were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Very good breakfast with all one could ask for. Fantastic food in the restaurant for fair prices. Nice, basic room with everything one needs. Nice view, too. Free parking, if needed.

The only slightly negative comment would be on the bathroom equipment: the towels were very old and not very clean. Not a problem for me but might not go down well with others. Also, there was no shower gel/shampoo at all. But that's not a big deal really.

After a night sleeping in the back of the Landrover, this little hotel was paradise

Boss lady was very friendly with a good sense of humor. Food was excellent. Superb view of the alps and a little chapel.

Location was perfect for me although the town centre is far. Walked down from Wendelstain and the hotel was there. Restaurant food was good.

Es war okay für eine Nacht!

Es war ein einfaches Frühstück. Das Zimmer für eine Nacht ist okay, aber nicht für mehrere Tag geeignet (harte Matratze, kleine Fenster wegen Dachschräge)

Für eine Nacht alles Bestens, schön dass man im Haus Abendessen konnte und nicht mehr fahren musste.

Besonders gut haben mir die hochwertigen Handtücher und die schöne Bettwäsche gefallen .

Wij hadden via booking geboekt met ontbijt. Bij aankomst bleek echter dat dit niet erbij was. Bij de bevestiging van de eigenaar stond het inderdaad als optie dus de fout ligt duidelijk bij booking

Eine idealer Ausgangspunkt für einen Wanderurlaub oder einem Zwischenstopp bei der Fahrt nach Süden.

Das Frühstückbuffet war voll ausreichend. Das Einzelzimmer war für einen Kurzaufenthalt groß genug. Das Berggasthaus liegt sehr schön am Berghang mit Blick über Brannenburg. Die bayerisch bürgerliche Küche war sehr gut.

We waren met een vouwwagen en dat was in eerste instantie niet mogelijk om de boven te parkeren. Er was geen ruimte voor. Beneden aan de weg was plek genoeg, maar geen zicht erop en erg stil.

Gigantische Lage mit atemberaubendem Bergpanorama und schneller Anbindung zum Ort und zu Verkehrsmittel wie Bahn und Autobahn

Die Leitung der Unterkunft lässt jede Art von Freundlichkeit und Entgegenkommen vermissen. Wenn man Glück hat, begegnet sie einem patzig, eher am Rande von unverschämten Auftreten. Das ist sehr schade, sind die übrigen Mitarbeiter äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Schade, dass nicht mehr aus dem Haus gemacht wird!

Die Lage war sehr schön. Das Haus hat eine tolle Aussicht und liegt ruhig.

Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, die Dusche noch kleiner. Die Armaturen sauber, allerdings die Duschlippen schwarz und schimmlig. Zwei verschiedene Bettwäschen, ein liebloses Frühstück, bei dem nur der Kaffeeautomat überzeugt hat. Schade! Das Gasthaus hat zwei Ruhetage, an diesen gibt es auch keinen Aufenthaltsraum für Gäste am Abend.
