The 9th Hole - Two-Bedroom Apartment in Birkdale, 1 mile from Royal Birkdale Golf Club

The location was perfect for golfers, the kitchen was exceptional, the TV had all the apps and you can cast your phone to the TV as well. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean. The whole apartment was nice and cool which was a bonus due to the 30C temperatures during my stay. The information giving by the Julia the landlord was excellent and was very detailed. If you're a golfer or a pair or a pair of couples or 4 golfers who don't mind sharing beds that want to play Royal Birkdale and/or the surrounding courses, then a can't recommend this enough.

The two things I didn't like was that the sofas weren't comfy which wasn't the end of the world. The other thing was the low level lights that hang from the ceiling in the living room and ensuite bedroom, I banged my head a few times but I got used to dodging them throughout my stay.

One of the bedrooms was a wee bit cramped I felt it could have had a few wee extras in the lounge ie cushions and mirror or pictures on the wall it was a wee but basic

So close to Royal Birkdale Golf Club

The shower head was partly blocked and didn’t spray well, the bath towels were tiny. The kitchen could have been cleaner, the freezer had previous occupants food, the toaster had crumbs, the main switch for the hob was very dirty. There were very few hangers in the wardrobes and some were broken. I contacted the host and sh arranged for new ones to be delivered the next day
