Ivy golf cottage

Garden isn’t as lovely as the photos and the furniture was kept outside so was wet and unable to sit on. Heater in main bedroom didn’t appear to have power to it.

Cottage was lovely and cosy for 2 people. Bathroom and shower were great and galley kitchen had everything we needed.

Cottage didn't have any directory with instructions on using all of the equipment, heaters, local attractions, etc. Was billed to sleep 4 but living room space had one 2 seater sofa, one seat and square box seat - would struggle to fit 4 adults. Courtyard garden would be a great space if brambles and weeds were not there. Front garden was overgrown with ivy. TV remote didn't work - needed new batteries, so we downloaded the app to control the TV. Master bedroom could do with a double bed and not 2 singles pushed together.

For us travelling with our 2 dogs it was a great location with enclosed courtyard convenient to locations we attended

Hadn’t been to this area before and this cottage was ideally placed to explore the area, towns and villages and the coast. However it was great to be in a peaceful spot, where you could go a walk straight from the door and not need to use the car. Also loved the outside space for relaxing, having meals and reading in the sunshine.

Paper information [Leaflets and map of area] would have been helpful ~ switching between sites and screens on-line not as good as pursuing paper based information … I might be showing my age! After all there is a lot to choose from in your area.
