Bombora Balangan Resort

Great food and very comfortable rooms. Watching the waves from the pool and restaurant was a highlight.

Bombora Balangan Resort is a magical place. The rooms are super clean and spacious, the pool and bar/restaurant area are the perfect place to hang out and enjoy a stunning view over the ocean and surf break. We loved staying there and didn’t want to leave. Staff is also incredibly friendly and warm and food DELICIOUS. 10/10 recommend. Thank you !

The location overlooking the surf beach below was glorious and could be viewed from the restaurant, the pool and our room. The vibe of the property was relaxed and had a real community feel as the pool was central to everything.

We booked the King suite. It was disappointing - there was green algae growing near and in the shower; the bathmat had 2 holes in it and had frayed, there was a similar one in the kitchenette. These were fixed quickly when pointed out to the manager, but it was not a nice start. The floor in this suite looks filthy and was very uninviting. The manager said it was meant to look like this, meant to look old. Regardless it just looked very unclean in traffic areas.

The view was lovely and the access to the surf the reason why people will keep coming back

The food was ordinary and expensive for the quality. The only exception was a pizza on night 3. Also it was hard to find areas to hang towels to dry them and if you asked for a replacement they didn’t have any. Got told off for hanging my towel in the sun because it was a common area and it’s not allowed
