This place was right by the beach, walking distance only few minutes away. Several surfing schools on the beach.

Rating does not represent the real situation. We ended up staying here only 1 night because it was definitely not good. Dirty linens, room didn’t have night curtains so the light was coming in during the night, bathrooms outside, very old and not very clean. This place is more like a hostel vibe than a hotel. This is a good option only if you’re here for the location and the beach- not to enjoy the premises. 3/10 rating.

Beautiful place with beautiful people. The staff are friendly, accommodating and helpful. Great surf out the front, surfboards for hire and nice traditional food or a mix of western meals. Definitely going to go back. Reasonable price for my time there also

Mosquito infested with faulty mosquito nets

Better value than other accommodations.

I had a most horrible night in Bangalan Sea View. The accommodation is basically open for all mosquito to fly into the property and the mosquito nets in my accommodation had holes in it and was not long enough to go on the ground, so all mosquitos went into my bed space and I couldn't get any sleep. Also not happy with the cleanliness of the place. The bed sheets and cushions looked like they needed a good wash. For the money this is still an OK deal but what is it worth of you don't get any sleep.

Stay but do not eat there

The staff is nice, especially the cleaners. Nice size room,very good pressure of water and even got 5min hot water. The sea view is amazing. Have AC! Cleaning room every day. Very nice welcome drinks

We stayed in a Sun Bungalow, it's very hot in day time,a bit too much hot even with AC. Stairs to get to exit. Restaurant is very expensive and food is not that good,got food poisoning after lunch in the hotel restaurant. Far from everything,but beach just few minutes walk ,but it's steep stairs to the bench or steep walking up and down hill. In the bathroom water was leaking under the sink. In the terrace holding rail only for looks,not steady and flimsy. We didn't touched them, because we read other customers reviews and knew about that.

Located very close to beach

Not very clean, one of the window has only frame and you could hear all the noise from outside. No hot water at all, and I was informed that I booked the room without hot water, and in my booking this specific wasn’t mentioned (first time hearing that at 3star hotel can have rooms without hot water)

Great stay - food, staff, location.

Great location, above the beach with easy beach access and great views from out front. Staff are super helpful and friendly. The food is AMAZING and very reasonably priced. Have eaten here a lot during our stay and have loved every meal. Easy to rent scooters from them, can book massages on-site. The pool is lovely also. Rooms are basic - clean, good air-con, little fridge which is handy. Would definitely recommend, great value for the price.

I forgot to mention on the second floor or Lumbung tiga there is a railing overlooking the pool that is very loose and needs to be fixed. If someone was to lean on it they would fall and be very badly injured. Please have a look at it so no one gets hurt 🙏

Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer!

The staff were helpful and the food always arrived quickly and was delicious. The pool was an amazing place to hang out and cool off. It was very convenient of the hotel to be pick us up and drop us off. I adored the few little dogs that live there as well.

Sometimes we struggled to get a fast internet connection in and around the property.

Not many food places around or basic shop so if you don’t drive can be a bit isolating. We only spent our last 2 nights here so wasn’t really an issue and ideal area to just relax. Smelly bathrooms that made the whole room smell, stern receptionist.

Luxury in a quiet fishing village with exceptional staff

This hotel is wonderful, the location is superb with quiet farming fields around and only the sounds of nature. Its a few minutes walk from a beautiful beach which has superb sunrises. The staff were excellent and attentive. The owner Dino went above and beyond during my stay to help me organise a last minute trip to Ijen which was wonderful. The swimming pool is great as well, large enough to float and swim lengths in with overhang trees - gorgeous! This is one of my favourite places I have ever stayed and will definitely come back if I get the chance to travel to Bali again - a true gem and perfect for relaxing and seeing the beautiful island of Bali. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bali - I travelled from Denpassar just for this hotel and it was 100% worth it.

Facilities are little old fashioned

The hotel is situated near Balangan beach where a lot of surf going on. However you need to have a scooter.

The facilities were not up to standard, the air conditioning didn't work in my room. I was expecting a sea view bungalow and they gave me a superior room. Very faraway location if you want to go out to the city centre.

Good place and fair price.

The room is spacious with a big bed and a big bathroom too. I loved the pool and the juices I tried. The staff are very helpful and polite. The place is very beautiful and with lots of greenery. It's very close to the beach, you can walk there.

The only thing I didn't like was that the water and power went out. When we got back the room was tidy but the bathroom was completely dirty, I thought they would clean it when the water came back but no one went to clean it so I washed it myself. You need a motorbike or download the motorcycle taxi app as there is nothing nearby, the city is 15 minutes away.

Amazing value for money. Staff were very friendly & helpful. I arrived early & left late and they stored my bags for me and I enjoyed some food by the pool. Food was delicious, you don’t even need to leave the property! Will come again
