We liked the quirkiness of the railway carriage, the setting next to a woodland, having breakfast outside, the well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, the whirlpool bath, peaceful setting, the good pub very near. The double bed was comfortable.
Some of the windows don’t close completely so might be a problem in cold weather. No extractor fan in the bathroom. The grandchildren said they could feel the springs in the single beds. One of the chairs outside was broken, could have caused a fall if a heavier person than a 12 year old had sat on it.

The quirky carriage we stayed in was great - even had a whirlpool bath! Julia was lovely, very friendly and welcoming. The area is great, near the banks of the river Severn, close to a great pub and within walking distance to Ironbridge.
Everything we needed was provided but perhaps some things were a little dated.

Lovely situation and quirky
Really needed some care. Heater in bedroom not only didn’t work but had bits hanging off it. Heated towel rail in end bathroom didn’t work either Freezer compartment in fridge broken, cobwebs in bathrooms, lock to main door tricky and when I rang as I couldn’t get in : no reply
