About this ryokan rental

Built in 1806, Furuya is the oldest ryokan in the Atami hot-springs area. A 3-minute walk to Atami Sun Beach, it features a variety of beautiful hot-spring baths and features traditional Japanese rooms, some with their own private hot-spring bath.

Mari was an excellent hostess. The food was very abundant and delicious. The free amenities were very gracious.
The onsen was awesome, however the accompanying garden could use to be upgraded slightly

There was a private bath with a round tub about 1 meter deep and 1 meter in diameter. The pool was fed by the hot springs so you could adjust the temperature to as hot as you desired. They had a public bath as well, but soaking in the hot tub after traveling or sightseeing was just heaven.
