Jog Lodge 22 By Together Travel - 3 Bed Sea-View

Prachtige ligging, zeer luxe huisje

Er was 1 groot minpunt. Booking had lodge 22 voor ons gereserveerd, dit was al in oktober 2025 . In de mail de we enkele dagen voor aankomst ( juli 2026) ontvingen stond dat we lodge 19 hadden. Nummer 22 heeft sea view; Nummer 19 heeft gedeeltelijke sea view, er staat een andere lodge voor. Wij vonden dit niet o.k. en misleidend. We hebben dit gemeld en helaas gaven Booking en Travel together elkaar de schuld. Uiteindelijk hebben we een kleine schadevergoeding gekregen, maar het nare gevoel bleef. Was gewoon eerlijk geweest, dan hadden we zelf een keuze kunnen maken. Het is jammer dat het zo gelopen is want verder zijn de lodges prachtig.

We loved the feel of the lodge with the huge windows looking out onto the coast. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, the sofa area was comfortable, decor nice. Parking was easy. We had a really enjoyable stay.

Der große Wohnbereich mit der offenen Küche überzeugt, so sind alle zusammen. Der Ausblick spricht für sich, einfach genießen.

Die einzelnen Schlafzimmer sind recht eng.

The view The size of the communal space Having 2 bathrooms Having washing facilities and a utility room - good to deposit wet shoes and jackets before entering lodge proper. The outside decking area Provision of washing up liquid/dishcloths and towels. Staff - Stephanie and Mark were very patient and helpful with our complaints and helped out where they could. Main issues they could not deal with (wifi etc)

NO WIFI OR PHONE RECEPTION with no advanced warning. Had we known we would have planned ahead. Instead we were told after check in that the wifi was and had been down for some time. Caught us out completely with being unable to go online to plan visits/ferries etc during our stay. No guide/instructions to the lodge and it's facilities. No control over heating. Lodge 22 is a generic number on booking.com for several lodges. All same facilities but booked 22 specifically for the location on site to be told day before arrival we were in Lodge 12. A lack of storage in kitchen if you plan to prepare your own meals. No oven gloves. Windy weather the last 2 days which made the large patio doors creak loudly keeping us awake. The site is overrun with wild rabbits - cute to watch but with dogs, a health risk and distraction!
