Wow, everything was perfect, the view is utterly stunning, the pod was immaculately clean, beautifully designed and decorated. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Stacy who was a fantastic host.

Breathtaking location in a super comfortable pod

Location to die for! Beautiful views over a stunning bay, with everything you need provided in the pod. Really appreciated the delicious snacks that were left out for us too! Wish we could have stayed longer

Heavenly Selkie Pod on the NC500

Loved everything about this property. The pods are so well made and maintained - comfortable beds, great water pressure and temp, everything you need to be comfortable. Kitchen area stocked with anything you need to prepare meals, a small charcoal bbq on the picnic table AND the most amazing view. Stacey was so lovely and met us when we arrived to show us about the pod and recommended dinner options. These pods are her pride and joy and it shows!

Absolutely wonderful stay! The location is truly magical – peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by nature. The view from the property is just breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. Stacey was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A charming surprise: cows grazing nearby added a special countryside charm that we loved! There’s also a great local restaurant just 10 minutes away by car – perfect for a relaxed dinner or breakfast. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet getaway with unforgettable views and warm hospitality!

We loved our stay at Strathy Pods. The Orca pod was so fab - beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything we needed in a compact space. The location was magical, right above the beach. We wished we were staying longer than the one night we'd booked. It would have made an excellent base for touring the whole of the northern and eastern coasts.

Space is obviously limited but a proper built-in microwave oven might be a nice touch but certainly not a necessity

We had the most amazing stay at the Strathy Bay Pods. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the love and attention to detail that Stacey has put into creating this special place. The pod itself is beautifully designed – super functional, yet cozy and stylish. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The space is surprisingly spacious – you never feel cramped, which is rare in such compact accommodations. Plus, the pod was spotless – immaculately clean and clearly cared for with pride. Stacey is a truly outstanding host. Warm, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about making her guests feel at home. Every little detail, from the interior design to the welcoming touches, has been carefully considered. And the location – a solid 12/10 🤩 Strathy Bay is absolutely breathtaking – peaceful, wild, and unforgettable. We felt incredibly lucky to stay here and would return in a heartbeat.

absolutely amazed by this place

First guests in 2025 and we are absolutely amazed by this place. We have been around Scottland for a whole week and this final stay has been our absolute highlight here. Beautiful beach, beautiful pod, all expectations from the photos were met and even exceeded. Stacey has been the most wonderful host, everything here is prepared and handled with so much love and attention down to the smallest detail. Hope to be back soon!

What an exceptional place to stay! A very warm welcome from Stacey and many thoughtful touches in the beautiful pod. Stunning views over the beach. We did not want to leave, and it has been the best place we have stayed on our NC500 road trip. Would love to return.

Fantastic location, pod and host for a perfect stay

The property was comfortable and well equipped and upon immediately arriving felt WOW this place and location is amazing. The pod stylishly decorated and Stacey has thought of everything from welcoming biscuits, and beer in fridge to the coals in the bbq and firepit. The pod had all essential equipment with binoculars to look out at the birds we had a hawk flying nearby. No complaints everything perfect. Really made a special night on our trip and was just sad we didn’t have more time. Definitely recommend

I have been trying to find the words to write a reveiw for this property. But no words can describe the beauty and magic of Strathy Bay pods. I have traveled all over in many countries but this stay is probably my most memorable. Stacey is so kind and caring. The pods were beautiful, warm, clean, and packed with amenities. We even received a bonus gift of ice cream and chocolate upon arrival! My 75 yr old father and my 2 teenage sons were in awe and loved the stay Thank you, Stacey, for offering accommodation that is so special and in such a beautiful location that it truly fills the heart with love and joy.

Absolute bliss

Wow! This place is incredible! This accommodation is gorgeous to say the least, Stacey (the host) has thought of every little detail to make the pods comfortable, cosy, practical and fun and don't even get me started on the view! A truly unforgettable stay🤩
