Lovely accommodation for a mountain escape!

Wonderful location! Beautiful place for a 4 day hiking trip in the mountains! Very well equipped with just about everything you need (except for food). Nice, simple decor, extra bedding, comfortable beds and overall spacious. I would definitely recommend it for a nice get-away, and so easy to take the train from Malaga. The heaters worked great and kept it cozy during the cold November nights. There are a few cafes and bars, then the kiosks for the Caminito del Rey crowds, which can easily be avoided. So many wonderful hikes in the area, and, of course, climbing sites. Bring your own food or be very careful to check the hours of the local cafes/bars! The only store has unpredictable hours and minimal options. The bottle of wine and olives were a special addition! The owner was very responsive.

Minor things: The view is from the patio outside the house. The windows are frosted so you can’t see outside when they’re closed, which isn’t a big deal, considering how nice everything is. There was an odor from the bathroom, but I’ve experienced that in many nice places in Europe and Asia, so it was easy to ignore. No washer and no drying rack for sink washed clothing. There were plenty of hangers, though.

Beautiful place

Good communication from Vanesa, who sent video and instructions how to find property and check in. The place was clean, very nice with beautiful dining outdoor spot. And of course bottle of welcome wine and pizza did make a top.

Fantastic stay :)

The communication was very smooth. Vanesa contacted me straight away after my booking and made sure I got all the information I needed for the trip from Malaga and to Caminito del Rey. Very charming Spanish house and terrace with amazing view of el chorro. Everything was great! We enjoyed the wine and olive prepared for us by Vanesa. The bottle of ice water stored in the fridge reveals how thoughtful our host is :) We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended! Thank you so much!

Nice stay in El Chorro

Lovely little house on a nice street. Well equipped. Easy to get in. Small convenience store nearby. Very close to train station. El Chorro is a great area with a nice hiking&climbing options and this is a great place to start. I highly recommend a hike to Monte Huma and of course Caminito Del Rey.

Cleanness can be improved - the floor wasn't swept. Other than that, no objections!

Unique place with an awesome view

I loved it. It has a certain vibe to it, it was more than just a place to fall asleep between treks. Cosy and clean. There is a terrace with an awesome view. I relaxed just by staying there. Hosts were helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay at El Chorro

This accomodation is perfectly located for visiting Caminito del Rey. Shuttle bus stop to El Kiosco is just 5 minut valk. There was everything we needed in the appartment. Easy contactless check-in. No problem with finding the way and parking. Amazing view from the terrace. Absolutely quiet wanderful place.

Relaxing cozy setup for cycle touring

Lovely little oasis of 2-3 apartments in a location overlooking the valley. Hotel was on the Altravesur cycling route which was perfect for us!

In the off-season (May 2023) it was challenging to get supplies for breakfast/dinner - we ended up heading to the one open restaurant in town.

Exceptional

Apartment is located in what apears to be a newly adapted outhouse. It is arranged along one axis. You enter the appartment in the living room, there is one bedroom on the right, and on the left there is a kitchen followed by a second bedroom and a bathroom. Everything is brand new and perfectly clean. The apartment is equipped with everything. I mean seriously everything. Not only hairdryer and iron, but a coffee cups, tea, sugar, cold beer and water in the fridge and delicious wine on the table. The owners live nearby and are very helpful. The view is spectacular. Although you can't see it from a window, you just need to take 10 steps out the door. There was no problem with parking space.

A bit difficult to find. Surrounding buildings (or what is left of it) does not look to well, but then again - the place itself is great. If you are above 180 cm - watch out for the low door between the living room and the kitchen.

If you want to stay in the evening at terrace and enjoy view to valley and Spanish wine so this is perfect place. For the trip in Caminito del Rey would recommend to leave the car at the accommodation and go to start of the trip by bus. Apartment is very close to the end of this way.

Acogedora casa en lo alto de la colina!!

La casa estaba muy limpia y con detalles que marcan la diferencia como la botella de vino y aceitunas que nos encontramos en la mesa como detalle de bienvenida.Los juegos de mesa fueron otro plus,aunque no los utilizamos seguro que son súper útiles en días de lluvia. Los ventiladores en todas las habitaciones y el aire acondicionado marcaron la diferencia entre poder dormir o no. La cocina tenía todo lo necesario para poder cocinar y el baño era amplio y moderno,con una ducha maravillosa. El sistema de código para acceder a la vivienda me parece una genialidad para olvidarte de llaves y evitar problemas. Los propietarios respondían a tus dudas y preguntas siempre que se les preguntaba,a pesar del horario.

El baño olía mucho a sumidero y para acceder a él hay que atravesar la otra habitación,molestando a los que duermen allí. La puerta de entrada se hacía estrecha para personas más gorditas y había que abrir la otra para que pudieran entrar. A pesar de informar de que al final íbamos 4 personas en vez de 3,solo dejaron toallas para 3.

Jeśli Caminito - to tylko tutaj

Apartament jest bardzo wygodny, dobrze wyposażony, idealnie położony dla chętnych na wędrówkę przez Caminito. Widok z tarasu jest wspaniały, nie znajdziecie takiego w całej Maladze! Blisko takze do stacji pociągu i restauracji. Wypoczywa się tam niesamowicie. Natomiast to co mnie najbardziej zachwyciło, to fakt jak wspaniałym gospodarzem jest Vanessa! Nasza przygoda w Hiszpanii rozpoczęła się od strajku na kolei w Maladze... Wszystkie pociągi do wieczora odwołane i już myślałam że nie uda nam się dotrzeć na miejsce, stres, bo przecież bilety na Caminito zakupione na konkretną godzinę, kiedy Vanessa na pytanie czy zna jakiś inny środek transportu z Alora zaoferowała, że odbierze nas z koncowej stacji metra! Podróżujemy bardzo dużo, jednak takich gospodarzy i w ogóle tak otwartych, życzliwych ludzi spotyka się rzadko. Vanessa, jeszcze raz dziękuję!

Soggiorno Piacevole

La comunicazione con Vanesa é stata molto reattiva. Visto i lavori in corso, nell’area adiacente alla struttura, attraverso dei video ci ha spiegato come raggiungere l’alloggio. La location è perfetta, poiché a meno di 200 metri si trova la fermata del bus che porta all’entrata del Caminito del Rey. La vista dal patio sulla vallata è incredibile. Al nostro arrivo sul tavolo come benvenuto c’è stata offerta una bottiglia di vino rosso. L’appartamento si presenta moderno, confortevole e arredato con cura. Molto pulito, con aria condizionata funzionante e Wi-Fi performante.

È necessario provvedere all’acquisto di cibo e bevande prima di raggiungere la struttura. Poiché attorno a l’alloggio non ci sono supermarket o ristoranti. Market più vicino a circa 30 km.

Pohodlné ubytování s hezkým výhledem, paní majitelka nám připravila láhev vína, olivy, vodu i kávu. Bylo to velmi příjemné.

Entorno y vistas. Calle muy cuidada y coqueta. Cama cómoda. Baño muy cómodo y completo. Agua fría en la nevera, cápsulas de café en la cocina y vino y algo de comer en el salón. Se agradecen estos detalles.

Hay dos dormitorios y para acceder al baño hay que pasar por un dormitorio; no es independiente. Dicho esto, en un apto rural de este tipo esto da igual, pues suelen ser amigos y familia los que se alojan. No hay lamparita en la mesa de noche.

Dokonalé místo s krásným výhledem ❤️

Perfektní místo, vkusně a účelně zařízeno. Láhev vína a olivy byly příjemným bonusem, rovněž byla k dispozici káva (kapsle) a čaj i dobře vybavená kuchyně. Venkovní posezení s nádherným výhledem bylo fantastické. A výlet na Caminito Del Rey nám úplně sebral dech, byli jsme unešeni! 😊 Hostitel nám poslal krátké video, jak se od nádraží dostaneme k ubytování - velmi šikovné. 👍 U domu je velmi hezká autentická úzká ulička s několika kočkami od sousedů - moc milé uvítání. 😺 Jediným drobným mínusem byl rozkládací gauč v obýváku. Na jedno přespání ok, více nocí pro 2 dospělé by nebylo nic moc. Ale jinak bylo vše perfektní, děkujeme Antoniovi.

Wunderschöner Platz

Ich war eine Nacht dort , um den Königsweg gehen . Ich war überwältigt von der schönen Umgebung mit Schluchten , Bergen und Seen . Das kleine Häuschen war reizend ; alles da was man braucht und alles sehr sauber . Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter lief reibungslos . Trotzdem ich nur für eine Nacht da war , hat man mir zur Begrüßung eine Flasche Rotwein und Oliven hingestellt , auf meine Bitte hin sogar 2 Flaschen Wasser extra . Ich wäre gerne länger geblieben , hatte aber schon Anschlussbuchungen .

Meravigliosa esperienza

Casa molto bella, particolare, in linea con l'ambiente, caratteristica. Subito fuori da casa, la vista sul lago è fantastica. Ottima possibilità di lasciare l'auto in strada. Pochi minuti a piedi dalla fermata della navetta per il Caminito e poco minuti a piedi dal ristorante La Garganta, con una terrazza con panorama stupendo. Host disponibilissimi, mi hanno scritto un sacco per spiegare anche con foto e video come raggiungere la casa.

Vasca non comodissima, avrei preferito una cabina doccia. Qualche formichina qua e là ma ci sta essendo immersa nella natura!

Przepiękna lokalizacja w małym miasteczku w górach. Cisza, spokój i piękne widoki. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Apartament zawierający wszystko co trzeba, bardzo ładny. Łóżka wygodne. Smaczne winko w prezencie :)

Jedyne co warto zastrzec, to że jedna sypialnia jest przejściowa, tzn. przechodzi się przez nią do łazienki. Oczywiście właściciel nie może nic na to poradzić, ale poza tym naprawdę wszystko super!

Me parece la mejor ubicación de El Chorro. La última casa de la aldea, en una terraza alta con vistas a la montaña y el lago sin ningún obstaculo. Aparcamiento sobrado, con suerte, justo al lado de la casa.
