Did not meet expectations

On the beachfront, so you have a beautiful beach on your front doorstep. Great location. Easy parking. Decor is nice, and the house is kept clean. There are several pubs and restaurants within walking distance, as well as takeaways.

The kitchen was not great. We were there for Christmas. The oven was not a fan oven and did not cook things well. The dishwasher did not work. The owner did arrange for the dishwasher to be fixed by Christmas, but unfortunately it was still not working, which meant that we had to do all the washing up by hand in a tiny sink with one tea towel. Some of the doors do not shut properly (and they have to be kept propped open with large stones if you want to leave them open). The hairdryer was missing from the property, but the owner had another one sent immediately. Given what we paid to stay at the property (c£1.5k) for a week to spend time with family, it did not meet expectations.

Exceptional

Location was amazing especially with the young children. The rooms were spacious. Having two bathrooms was great.

1)Unfortunately some of the fittings are a little fragile. The curtain poles.. Toilet roll holder.. 2)The kitchen chairs looked new! They look very nice. Although several were wobbly.. when we checked by turning it over, there was two screws missing from the bottom holding the legs on. The other chairs, the screws appeared loose. We tightened them using an Alan key. Except the black one which we left turned over, no screws.

We really enjoyed our stay and the beach is beautiful. Great base to explore South Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿!

Brilliant location for beach🦀, nicely decorated ,very pretty back garden. House overall very clean and beds very comfortable 😊 Would stay again 👍

Overall very clean, just little things missed like slated blinds & lamps quite dusty..if front garden was made as nice as the back one would give a better first impression as house is lovely! Kitchen cupboards a bit worn.Tv in kitchen would be a good idea 👍

3 story house

House was in a great location right on the sea front. It was like a home from home, very spacious with a lovely enclosed back garden. Dishwasher was a lovely addition along with some cleaning items left for us like washing up liquid, all the bathrooms had loo roll in and we had tea and coffee for pur arrival. There was a local corner shop and a lovely chinese nearby. Lidl and Mossisons 2 minutes down the road. Host was really easy to communicate with and answered all our queries promptly 😊

The only thing that we struggled with was the lack of saucepans 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ trying to cook a sunday roast with just 3 pans was a challenge lol. Some information regards to rubbish and recycling would have been useful as well, as we found ourselves throwing everything in the black bin.
