Thank you for the upgrade after a booking error on my behalf. Staff attentive and easy to deal with - i ended up staying in the cottage which was lovely and in a beautiful spot. Really appreciated.

Great stay, disappointing facilities

Everything apart from the price of the room £105, and the fact that the shower was inaccessible for anyone over 5.5. I'm 6 feet 4 and my partner is 5 feet 8 and we were unable to fit in the shower individually. There was no ironing board and although this is a lodge used for caving, walking etc, it is still booking in people who have travelled from afar. The shower part was disappointing as the soap tray kept catching my throat and you were forced to stand rigid whilst showering. The family members in the other rooms expressed the same issue. The rooms are small, and there was no breakfast included in the room price of £105

Great service in a good location

I loved that the lodge was central to the things we wanted to do. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was great, helpful and accommodating. We were there to do the Four Waterfalls Walk which is located in the perfect location from the lodge. The food in the restaurant was great too.

We didn't like all the roadworks right outside the accommodation and lack of designated parking spaces. Road parking only. Which was harder to find as it was a particularly busy time of day.

It was amazing, beautiful area, beautiful staff and had the best trip just needed a tad more room.

Location, decor and the restaurant was great. Staff were amazing really helpful and made us packed lunches for our hike. Which were amazing.

Only the room size, I did know it was be cozy but considering we had massive coats and layers just really hard to navigate around the room, no where to put anything. Also the shower was the width of an average human body, so very tricky to shower in.

Bed uncomfortable, basin in bathroom so small unable to fill kettle. We booked and confirmation email confirmed we could get all meals for extra payment. It did not say it’s closed Monday and Tuesday when we were there. We could not find anywhere to have breakfast

Absolutely ideal for a night away when walking the four waterfalls trail. Very clean and cosy room

Really cosy, great location and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Water in the sink didn’t warm up unfortunately and the shower was a little temperamental.

The room was clean and inviting with a well stocked drinks caddy. Excellent location for the Waterfalls trail. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and great food in the restaurant. Breakfast was amazing.

No parking at the lodge itself but was lucky enough to find space in a lay-by just up the road.

Pretty rooms, felt safe, quiet (apart from hearing showers running in next rooms or plugs sockets being used) Staff were fantastic, friendly and welcoming and fast.

I thought it was a hotel, it’s more like a motel. Very limited tea and coffee, no biscuits or anything, very very basic token. Breakfast not included! No central heating on after rainy wet autumn/Nov walks. I like a cool room to sleep in but afternoon early evening some warmth would have been comfortable and welcoming. My shower was cool and extremely tiny. Unable to fill a kettle under sink tap in large room. Over priced for minimal comfort. Restaurant/cafe/bar shut all day Monday and closed early on Tuesday, on the days we booked. Over priced for quality.

Immaculate but very thin walls

Immaculately cleaning , presentable, perfect for a one night stay and the decor is beautiful.

The wall was extremely thin, I could hear the guests next door talking from the moment they arrived until they fell asleep. They were only speaking at normal conversation, but I was unable to sleep. they were not shouting or making noise so I had nothing to complain about. I just had to to try and sleep but it was difficult.

Clean and tidy. Snug but cozy. Codes and key safe clear and worked. Good value for single person needing a bed only.

Wasn’t sure how to open and close velux blinds for light without damaging them. Arrived late and didn’t know where to park l. Assumed it was main road but building site behind was a little confusing. Shame cafe don’t open early enough for a coffee.

A small but stunning stay

The location was fantastic, being right at tge entrance to the Elidir Trail and a 10 Mike circular walk, including The Four Waterfalls Trail and much more. The three pubs/restaurants next to our rooms were fabulous and the staff were extremely helpful

We were in Sgwd Gladys room which was smaller than we expected and a bit tight for manoeuvring around it. One of the rooms was much bigger with some seating room and space which we would have preferred

Room extremely small - manageable for one night. Shower cubicle tiny. Bar/restaurant is closed on a Tuesday night which we weren’t informed of until arrival even the text message received on the day off arrival didn’t state this, it advised us to call if we wanted to make a reservation for dinner or just to pop into the restaurant, they did advise on check in that there was a pub over the road open, this was fully booked but they managed to squeeze us in but we didn’t rate the food.

Cute little property in a great location. We only stayed one night do didn’t get to enjoy many of the facilities. Whilst the room doesn’t have windows the skylights allowed plenty of light

Excellent value, charming accommodation in great location

Greeted by very helpful and friendly staff, the accommodation was really clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. Onsite restaurant served lovely food and drinks. Free and convenient parking available.

It was not possible to get breakfast or snacks until 9am, it would be great if this could be a little earlier as my hiking group was starting at 9am.

Excellet except for the neighbours …

Location was superb. I was attending an event near-by & this location was ideal; far enough away to allow me to disconnect from the event but near enough that I didn’t have to travel for miles. Breakfast was really good & the staff were super friendly .. A great stay … only marred by one this (see below)

The only poor thing that happened during my stay is that the neighbouring room’s (the room at the end of the corridor) occupants were more than inconsiderate when getting back to their room at 0015 & making a serious amount of noise, flicking light switches repeatedly & raucously laughing at the shower(???). this went on for approx 90 minutes. My dog, who never barks, was so disturbed by the racket from next door that he barked for quite a while … Shame really as everythin else was great …

Best Waterfall Stay

Location is beautiful, close to the waterfall walks and nice busy pub with good drinks options!

Very busy but was a very hot day with lots of tourists so parking was a bit difficult but once we parked there were no further issues!
