Stayed for just one night, arrived late due to the weather, we were greeted by a lovely, cheerful receptionist who very quickly logged our vehicle into the system, explained the facilities and opening hours, cracked a joke about the weather and gave us our key. The room was spacious and very clean, exceptionally priced, very warm and we had a very nice late evening watching the TV and resting up for another long trip the following day.

On arrival Amanda on the check in desk made checking in easy and also sorting out the overnight parking.This is also a motorway services and had amenities that services usually have.My wife and I only stayed the one night and found the bed comfy and room was clean,which is all that was needed 👍🏼

Quick stop over very convenient just off the M4 very friendly staff on the desk at the time,very clean and quiet room I would recommend a stay here

I'm a tad disabled as I recover from a knee replacement.
We arrived in the dark, what a dreadful series of twists and turns just to find the place amongst the clutter of coffee and other shops. We parked almost opposite the big travelodge sign. There was a walkway - clearly, we thought this was the way. We reached a wall of windows but no doors. We turned left on a horrid un-flat surface, rugby beside the windows. Was this the way? We carried on to a set of steps. Yes, this is the way! Up the steps, no idea where to go. We were right beside the entrance to the coffee shop. Surely not in there.
We found a sign saying something to the effect that the travelodge reception was in the main building. Which one is that?
I was absolutely shattered. I had to put down the rucksack that I was carrying, with weak knees buckling under the strain.
Where oh where?
My wife went in to ask at the coffee shop.
What a surprise. There was the travelodge reception.
Come on travelodge, all you had to do was to add a few extra words to that sign (with a helpful arrow perhaps): ten metres to the left of this sign!!!!
We traipse in to be met by a lovely young man, being a helpful as he could be. We were the last people to check in and he had decided of his own bat, to keep the disabled room spare, for us. I hadn't identified myself as being disabled because I don't feel I am, but after slogging along that shaky path and up those steps, I was now!!
We gratefully accepted the room and he was so very helpful.
I would say the room was a little over warm, requiring us to open the windows to the large group of tourists, presumably from a couple of coach trips on a brief coffee/ toilet break. There was a sparse hedge between them and us. Oh, and the sound of the traffic from the motorway.
Once the room has cooled down, it became a pleasant night, in quite a tidy and clean room with all the bits and pieces you would want.
Please, though, get some better signage to help people IN THE DARK!
